I use hot water pvc, drill the correct size hole in the cap for the pvc, run my suction hose through the pvc, install the foot valve on the hose & stand the pipe up with the cap screwed on. When its time to change the bucket just unscrew the whole setup & install it on the new bucket. My main issue with the caps has been keeping the hose at the right length in the bucket. That's really the only reason I went with a barb splice.
Yeah, Bighead is right on. I've used this set-up for years & never had to replace one. If the cap on the bucket is changed to a different size/style just drill the new cap & your back in business.Great Idea....But why Hot Water CPVC instead of regular white PVC? There are no joints that can fail....
Here y'go:I.B. Washincars said:I can't imagine this working. There is no use of relays, check valves, PLCs, thermostats, or any extra wires. This is simply not complicated or costly enough to work.
What the heck???I think CantBreak80 has just been outdone!
