How will what congress does affect the quality of the sorter?
Thanks for asking. By not having higher denomination coins properly distributed ... it does help diminish coins in general ... & in not just my opinion. Why would coin sorter-counter companies want to invest in innovations & improvements in the USA if coins are made less viable ... partially by government policy or lack of policy. Unless operators want to get rid of coins completely ... why would anybody want to have to process 4x quarters vs 1x dollar coin or as bad ... the equivalent in moisture vulnerable paper ones. Unless you think you have as good of studies as the independent taxpayer paid for GAOs & the CAGW & others ... the extra cost to taxpayers should also be factored in. All "eggs in the basket" towards the more technical CC & NFC payment methods & that replacement payment method dependency ... for large numbers of individual pieces of equipment ... is certainly not an ideal fit for at least many of us either. For those states who are looking for revenue to meet their deficits partially because of less federal funding ... they are more likely to look at industries that did not assist in saving tax dollars ... some in states like Randy's have already gone that extra taxing to the operators route. Apparently the laundry industry had more credibility in Washington because some courageous owners in that state got that 9+% revised. Many of you see none of this related ... which is discouraging for democracy & representative government in general ... from my experience & perspective ... having sat through numerous tax study sessions over 2 sessions as an observer & as one who also shared as good of quality of input that I could find.
