Help ID this softener timer (fleck 3220?)

thank you so much! it’s a 1” valve and a single tank. I cannot find a capacity anywhere, just says hellenbrand. Based on what I can see about this “immediate” style timer, this might be an inappropriate setup. The control timer is based on throughput instead of time and I don’t see any dip...

Help ID this softener timer (fleck 3220?)

All, Bought a wash with a softener that I’m trying to figure out. I can manually regen easily, but I don’t understand the timer. It seems like it may be a fleck 3220 immediate timer, but the control gear is slightly different from versions I can find online. If anyone has and info or a positive...

    Monex connection help

If I’m correct it’s a Count-Up T/O/F USA model. I inquired at their website and bought direct. the stop button… one little, but BIG thing about Nayax is that the shade of the button on screen changes when depressed so that it’s obvious when you’re actually pressing it to stop. My Monex reader...

    Monex connection help

I put it in my furthest bay that had zero signal with Monex 2 days ago. Install was simple and if fired right up but now I’m working through some bugs with transactions and min start on my end, but at least the customers have had no issues and I really love the nayax moma app so far for trends...

Laserwash G5 intermittent arm rotation fail

The encoder failed the ema tast before and then was replaced. After replacement, the ema test passed. I then zeroed the arch and did the limit re-learn, which it also passed and has since not messed up in about 10 washes. Knowing all of this, you think it’s still worth replacing the card? It’s...

Laserwash G5 intermittent arm rotation fail

Well… after learning how to rig a computer to this monster, the encoder and impact switch were both found bad and the “shear bolt” had a grade 8 bolt instead. This explains why after the arch over rotating against the victims vehicle, it never stopped and caused so much chaos. I replaced the...

    Vacuum boom retrofit

yes I’m going down this path… I’m in process of flipping the place but also worried to increase prices until I’ve improved things to the point that I’d personally be happy with the price if I was a customer. Otherwise I may shoot myself in the foot. I guess I can at least look forward to my...

    Vacuum boom retrofit

Hey all, Is there a good vacuum boom retrofit kit that anyone has installed and liked? Or maybe even a holster like a gas pump? I have premier express and d&s power rounds (basically the same style 2” hose, 2 motor units) I simply can’t handle going after work to tidy up and then see someone...

    Monex connection help

1st nayax reader inbound. If it has good signal, I’ll put all nayax readers in the bays and put the Monex on the vacuums, hoping they get better signal out in the open. Thanks for the recommendation.

Laserwash G5 intermittent arm rotation fail

Just bought a wash with laserwash G5 which Hadn’t ran in about a year. Last owner was told by local company that it needed new nozzles (I saw the quote) so I replaced them all and it finally After many months of effort to fix burst nozzles and tlc maintenance, I got it spraying beautifully. Monex connection help

I’ve taken over a 6ss/2iba wash. All ss bays have Monex readers. The wash has 4 bays to the west, then the motor room and the 2 IBAs, the. The final 2 ss bays to the east. The Monex large white booster antenna is mounted to the tin just above bay 4, putting it roughly in the middle of the wash...

    Upgrading an RO system

opposite. You reject 25% and recover 75% for your demin water tank. This is a good starting point. If you have good quality city water, you may go to 80 or 85%. All depends on how clean of water you need for your system and how crappy your feed water is.

    Upgrading an RO system

Industrial water plant guy here… In my experience, low energy usually means they’re designed to allow more flow with less pressure. They have slightly wider spacing in the membrane spirals which allows good reject flow at the cost of slightly lower quality permeate water, which is nothing to...

Lipstick on a Pig (Car Wash Face Lift Stories)

Yes I understand. Maybe I regret the wording a bit… I took “lipstick on a pig” from dialogue in a different thread so without that context, it may sound a bit cheap. regarding the water temp and chemical delivery, have you ever had customer feedback or an experience really stressed their...

Lipstick on a Pig (Car Wash Face Lift Stories)

I’m fishing out people who’ve renovated washes and were surprised or impressed by increased customer volume due to aesthetic improvements. Paint, lighting, branding, decals, pavement, e.t.c. Please give me your brief story and then any feedback from customers (and your pocketbook) that...
