We are washing a few cars today after 3 days of rain. Everything seems to be going pretty well. Timed my top wash at 5:30 today so I'm thinking I probably shaved off a minute. If we have a great winter I may keep my eyes open for a reasonable price on a pump that will crank 300-350 psi.

Rykopro, Do you happen to know the rating on the prewash pump on a Softgloss? I would guess it at 200 lbs or so. The spinners would be impressive at 350 lbs. Maybe I'll keep my eyes open for one that will get me 300-350 lbs of pressure. Like I said, it's adequate now but could be better.

I like my Softgloss. There used to be a lot of slightly used friction machines available from markets where they were not well accepted. Don't know if that is still the case or not but you might look at carwashconsignment.com. The public is begining to see the light imo.
