Yes. Replace the Rowe with Mars. You can probably sell the Rowe validatores and power supply for almost as much as the conversion kit. That is the single best upgrade that I have done to the ss side of my business in 7 years.

Detergent for the foam brite just needs to be very slick. Physics will do the rest. Also it can be very cheap. My basic detergent is less than $5/gal. in 55 gal. drums.

I use tire and wheel spray, bug juice, high lubricity detergent plus a yellow and blue conditioner (I do this because 3 detergents made so much foam it was hard to get off), rinse, then Element Shield and sfr. We turn out a very nice clean car. I use Car Brite chemicals.

That is the way my program works as well. I used to put on 3 colored soaps but now use 1 soap and 2 colored conditioners on the initial detergent pass.

Anyone have a source for Ryko gearboxes? I need both front ones. Astromatic only has 1 of them but it is $264 cheaper than the same one from Ryko. I called Electra-Gear but they make to order, don't stock anything. Since I've already been down for 3 days I'd like to get the best price possible...

Unfortunately I do not have cameras in the bay. That may need to change though at some point. I've had a really good start to 2010 businesswise but suddenly repairs are killing me.

Here is an interesting bit of news. Both gearboxes for my front arms are broken! The only way that I can think of for this to happen is if someone really hit the gas while the arms were washing the front of the vehicle. That would almost certainly be intentional. Anybody think of another...

I just bit the bullet and bought the booster pump. I know it's over kill but it should get the job done if I can figure out how to hook it up. That bug juice really gets the bugs and bird crap off. I think the Element Shield will be a big hit too. Thanks

It was the transmiter. You can buy that transmitter from Banner for $114 with a 6.5 foot cord. To get the same transmitter with a 10' cord it's $234 from Banner and $280 from Ryko. That extra cord is pretty pricy! I may be splicing next time.

Are both sets of photo eyes the same? Ryko is about $100 per piece higher than Astromatic on the eyes. Kaman is likely less than them if I can find the part #. I think I'll buy an extra set to keep on hand. I had to break down and call for help today.
