    loop detector question

The man door is where my problem is. It won't open and close. I'll switch it out when it's not so cold and busy. I just need an alternative till then.

    loop detector question

I had a weird thing happen yesterday. My access door into the auto has had a bit of rust cancer for a while but no big deal. Yesterday something shifted that is making it VERY difficult to open and especially to close. As luck would have it it's really cold at night and after many days of snow...

    R O flush

That's really good to know. I guess I never noticed it before when it wasn't going into the resevoir. It's not a good feeling when you walk in and water is pouring all over the floor! Thanks!

    R O flush

Can somebody explain to me exactly how the ro flush works. I just got to the wash and my waste water is overflowing on to the floor (I feed my waste water into my ss holding tank). Is this a normal "flushing procedure or do I have an issue? Thanks Jim

    weep water usage

I have never touched my weep mizer in 6 years. It has always served me well and I never really considered the cost until I got this bill. I never really noticed an extra cost for weep in the past. I expected my gas bill to be high in Jan. I just didn't expect my water bill to be so high and the...

    weep water usage

I have a weep mizer. I had the valve pretty much open through the month because I didn't think I would be using that much water and it's been pretty cold. 4 degrees this morning, now it's 40 and my doors are open. That's Kentucky.

    weep water usage

Generally I like it when my water bill is high. The higher it is the more cars I washed. This months usage was double last months usage but I didn't wash twice as many cars. It was very cold all month. It's not possible to weep $400 worth of water in a 4 bay is it? Should I be looking for a...

Thinking of installing 2 bay ss/ Advise

I think you may be greatly underestimating what it will cost you to get into the car wash business.

    Bay Size

I cut down on the width of my bays and it was a mistake. If it was me I'd do the 2 automatics and host a poker game in the other 2 bays. The ss will be 75% of the work and 15% of the money. I wish I had just put in 2 autos and no ss.

    shampoo vac problem

There is a tiny little fuse tucked back behind the wires. Apparently it objects to large amounts of soapy water being dumped on it. Changing the fuse fixed the problem. Thanks guys.

    health insurance

Depending on how often you go to the doctor you may want to consider a high deductible health savings plan. The deductible is $3k but the contribution to your hsa is deductible and you pay what the insurance company pays. You can use the hsa to pay for anything medically related, including the...

    shampoo vac problem

I'm home sick today but will get up there in a bit. It makes sense to me that a solid stream of water might be bad for a transformer, doesn't it to you guys? Thanks

Is the 24v transformer something I can get locally or would it have to come from JC?

    shampoo vac problem

Both of those Siemans relays have "test" buttons on them and they both function so I think you are probably right. What does the transformer look like? I am electrically challenged! Thanks

    shampoo vac problem

I have a JC shampoo vac. There is a little bowl where the shampoo goes before the foamer. I guess the gasket has gone bad in the bowl and any time the foam button is pushed it shoots fluid all over the controls. I have lost power to the timer and coin acceptor but can't find anything tripped...

    Ryko foamers

I've located the foamers. Now if I can just get the screws out of the cover. I soaked them in wd-40. Is there anything else to do to loosen the damn things? I always use anti-sieze when I put them back but these have not been loosened in a long time.

Good job all of you guys from Ma.! Next would you please do something about Barney Frank? I guarantee you that he had 10 times more to do with the mortgage crisis than George Bush.

    Ryko foamers

I'm not getting a good flow on the trifoam with my softgloss. I am reasonably certain that I need to remove the foaming pads and clean them. I don't know exactly where they are or how to get to them. Can anybody help me with that? \Thanks

Welcome to the Forum Air Lift Doors

Unfortunately that is well beyond my electronic capability. I had a 50/50 shot at adjusting the sensitivity the right direction and did that wrong!
