We use it all the time at one location. Location pump stand was made with only 1 hydrominder and tank for HP soap and foam brush. We keep FB soap in there and draw off that for both.

Never thought about having the 90 swivel on the foam brush. I think a lot of our hose wear is caused by sitting with all the weight of the hose when in the holder. I may try that out next time I have to change a swivel.

Might be worth re-stripping and re-terminating your connections before running new wire.

So is it a control side issue? My thinking is that a contactor should be able to run a motor basically indefinitely without getting damaged if it is properly sized and the motor isn't over-amping. Loose or corroded connections?

I seem to remember that 2 stage compressors are much quieter than single stage? Could be mis-remembering. Typically 2 stage are used to obtain higher pressures, which we don't need for car washes, but I believe they are quieter. Might be worth checking into

Which part of the contactor is getting damaged? The coil or the contacts? Also, why is the contactor getting damaged before the overload trips? Is the contactor undersized for amps running through it or the overload oversized for the motor amps?
