Water Wizard boom rotary actuator issue

How much pressure is being applied by the regulator for front and back tilt? Have you replaced the air valve? Have you attempted to adjust the stops on the actuator?

    Justifying touchfree auto replacement

Without a complete site makeover the auto will be slow to come back. I sure wouldn't bother with an auto on the more expensive side without a makeover.

Finally a credit card reader that accepts tap and chip cards

Bays, vac, and autos. I'm using Cryptopay-swipe only on bays and vacs. IBAs also have the tap module added. I have about an $11-$12 ticket average and fees are right at 4% at both washes

    Best friction automatic:

Prowash12 as far as friction/touchfree ratios you hear 60/40 or 65/35 quite a bit but with the proliferation of tunnels the friction lead is dropping at many sites. The touchfree has it's niche of customers that refused to use friction, even if it means getting a "less clean" car. I'm probably...

    Talos validator program card

I would try harness enable to see if it will work. If set to always enabled and used in a changer it will ignore shutdown orders from a controller and will continue to accept bills and not dispense coins

    Weep - help a newbie

Yes, if the weep is running and you hear the solenoid clicking it is potentially bad. You can try disassembling and cleaning. If that doesn't work a replacement is in order. You want a normally open solenoid with the same voltage that is currently being powered by the weepmizer to the current...

Buying a car wash. How much do I charge?

Once everything is working correctly I'd go down on time. It seems like the standard SS cycle time is four minutes so slowly work your way in that direction.

    Weep - help a newbie

Welcome to the business. From the pictures it's a little hard to tell which side is the input side. I'm assuming the hose coming in on the left side is the input because it shows 40 psi on the pressure gauge. You can look at both the solenoid and the regulator to determine the direction of...

    Worst car of the day

I purchased some plazma to try. Although it's not the magic bullet for me as some tough cars still have a film it has done a great job on my site overall, especially considering the level of alkalinity. I can confirm it works great on bugs. We just came back from the gulf coast and my wife's...

    Spot Free

As CB80 mentioned most systems run spot free out its' own line and tees into a bay manifold above the bay near the boom. There should be a check valve there on one of the bays that is not working. You could also put a check valve on the line between the pump and the solenoid manifold.

    Best friction automatic:

Several good options. When I was looking my finalists were Istobal, Washworld, Oasis and Mark VII.

Yeah, I've used the cart trick several times too to get 10% off. The 20% off coupon is one I haven't seen in a while.

WW2.0 prox sensor PNP vs NPN

These are the automation direct proximity cables I use. They're well made, washdown rated, and I don't think I've ever replaces one unless I was chasing a gremlin. Only 22.00 each https://www.automationdirect.com/adc/shopping/catalog/cables_(terminated)/circular_connection_cables/evt224 These...

Help wiring a vacuum 94000 single vacuum

The horn is located under the removable shroud in the front of the vac. Looks like you need to connect the wires on terminal 3&4. The horn is DC so make sure you hook up the positive and negative terminals correctly.

    Fixing

I know several operators that sold their washes because of the monotony. Gotta admit that I enjoyed the business much more in the 90's and 2000s because I was busy buying or building and got to play with nice shiny new equipment and learn new things. Once I quit doing that the monotony set in...

Help wiring a vacuum 94000 single vacuum

https://colemanhanna.com/services/technical-manuals/#f3da0f5e2a78da8ab The manual is here. but the wire color code on the dixmor timer is different than what coleman uses. The harness itself is interchangeable. You can unplug a coleman timer and plug in a dixmor and it will work. So what you...
