I have done that in a pinch but I try to avoid that ... I am pretty sure that it would decrease the pullout protection ... like showed in the "pull gauge portion" of the mep001 linked video.

Just curious ... does the vac & carpet cleaner require too much maintenance or too little usage for you to consider converting it with the air option? I've debated in my mind about adding a vac & carpet machine but always got spooked because of our extreme cold weather months here in North...

In our cold climate ... we pretty much need to have overhead doors on both ends. The heaters in the bays are Trane with glycol going through their copper heat exchangers. The fan on each heater definitely helps to clear up the fog that inevitably happens when warm water its cold air.

If there are a large number of tire machines for free very close by such as in our area ... that will be a factor in getting your usage numbers up.
