New technology advice on Surveillance Cameras

Another trick IMHO is to use a 24VAC->12V->USB converter process ... it might save some wiring. As I add more Wyze Cam V3s I plan on doing that for some with existing dormant 24VAC wiring.

    New phone

Kudos for making cell phone last for 10 years. Consumer Cellular has been an improvement for me over Verizon... They allow for either T Mobile (5G?) or AT&T cell towers. For some reason I have always steered away from anything Apple-Iphone & gone with Samsung-Android. There might be...

Help with spot free delivery pump

I have found that the multimeter I chose that can easily measure the microfarads was well worth the investment.

Pump PSI Drops from 1100 to 400

Once upon a time ... one of us workers grabbed the wrong replacement nozzle. You might want to verify that there was no mistake made with a replacement nozzle.

    Q-See cameras out of business

Roz, Have you had the water problem happen to the Wyze V3 ... which is specifically by Wyze includes outdoor usage. Has anyone been successful putting in the V3's in their self service bays??? I do have some extremely high quality 1982 outdoor camera housings that still have their protective...

New technology advice on Surveillance Cameras

I wonder if there are any other current cameras that do as good of a job of actually capturing colors in very low light as the new Wyze V3??? Accurate colors could tip the scale depending on the officer or judge etc IMHO.

    Hammered in Texas

A friend-customer of mine when we were just "chewing the fat" visiting ... during a local rain looking from the inside of the laundromat ... said that he was pretty sure that when an area has too much pavement & flat concrete ... water gathers more in spots than in an area where there is a lot...

    High pressure ceiling boom

I could be wrong ... but the Drayco looks identical to what Specialty Equip had before they went out of business. I still use two of them & have some spares up in our 2nd story large room ... but for some of my bays ... Z-booms are my preference. The Z-booms I put in were much more expensive...

    Q-See cameras out of business

Greg & others, Something else to consider is the use of ApowerMirror installed on both a smart phone & whatever PC. That way a much larger viewing ability! A lightning fast transfer of whatever is recorded in playback mode ... in my case on my Galaxy Note 8 ... from the cell's DCIM folder...

    Fence in self serve carwash

I believe Mark Murra from Michigan has done something similar. Some Canadian formats are like what was in bismarck (14 bays) here with a parking lot style arm requiring credit card to enter.

    Dog in a Car Wash

Yes ... I could not help but have a deeper sort of chuckle partially because of the following .... About 2 hours ago my brand new neighbors from the state of Iowa ... with their Akita young dog was barking at me thru the chain link fence ... while I was intent on doing a quick needed watering...

Air Shammee vs Air Shammee II

I also besides Rfreeman would like to see pics if possible! HOW FAR TO YOUR FARTHEST BAY??? This is something we might consider on a possible future redo. We would have to sometimes pass the PVC through minus 0° F cold air so we would probably insulate the 2" or larger PVC pipe. Intake air...

    Internet options

I've thought about using cell phone instead of the local cable company. I can't help but notice including ... T-Mobile ... for all cell contracts in our specific area ... that as soon as a monthly threshold is reached the cell data broadband speed automatically becomes much less. So far I have...

This Video at the 41 Minute Mark Uses Car Washes as a Flattering Example?

I still say my "Just About Anything" post was more pertinent to hopefully inspire us car washers to resolve whatever in as non violent a way as possible. Keeping the GOON TALK to a minimum! On the other side of the coin ... I did see a pretty tough looking 40ish lady (but friendly) vacuuming...

Guy says 1000psi stripped his paint

The following blog-article explains the various nozzle degrees. It sounds like zero degree nozzle could save even more water $$$ than a 15 degree nozzle. It comes down to the customer being the one responsible for how close the nozzle is held etc IMHO. Unnecessary wasting of water is frowned...

Guy says 1000psi stripped his paint

Based on when we join more than 1 pump with a wider angled nozzle to achieve more water volume for tough mudder bay wash down ... I am thinking that more water volume ... even with less pressure is the most effective cleaning. From a utility cost perspective ... higher pressure & less water...

This Video at the 41 Minute Mark Uses Car Washes as a Flattering Example?

I was going to post the following video link in the Crime Reports Category ... but here it is in this category. There is a quite a bit of referencing to us sometimes unglamorous car washers & our technology starting at right around the 41 minute mark. Since I have numerous paper token...

    Thoughts

Not wanting to alter change Mac's thread basis but just thought I would quickly share what I see as another positive development in the ATM industry. I know that there is a percentage who vehemently disagree with me on our approach of having a reliable ATM on site but I can't help but notice...

    Adding Crytopay to Vacuums

We added LED7 to all our Vacs even without the CC acceptance & count up ... I am pretty sure the customers appreciate the visual feedback the LED7 gives. In the future we could still add the Crypto ... if we so choose ... & slightly reconfigure the LED7 for count up it seems.
