Lower, slower Delaware--up 10-15% last year at 5 locations. Averaging 10% up year to date. $2 gas seems to be really helping.

    angled SS wand tip

I bought a wash that the previous owner did exactly what cantbreak80 said. It seems a bit dangerous to me. He also had 3/8 hose down to the wand with NO swivels. That washing experience was a nightmare---very uncomfortable to wash a vehicle. But he thought it made the customer feel like the...

    Ghost in WW 1.0

No wash triggered, no lights on. ALL push buttons disconnected. This one is going to be a real mystery.

    Ghost in WW 1.0

Well, I did do that already. Wiring is always the 1st place I confirm. I should have phrased my question--- after all the normal troubleshooting (wire connections, all sensors tested, all eyes tested, all manual functions tested, verify all voltages, etc.)

    Ghost in WW 1.0

Unit starts reversing on its own, goes a foot or so, then goes back home. Then goes to out of service with "drive motor ran too long" error. This is with no wash triggered and nothing in bay. All push buttons on inside panel are disconnected. Does anybody know what actually triggers the...

    Weep drain ? On flo-jet extractor/dryer

I think the flo-jet extractor has a steady, small leak (by design); to let the moisture out.

Laser 4000 rollors black/white thin wide?

At a location I bought with 2 lasers, they are black all the way around. And I just ordered all black for replacements. The ones on have been there 4 years plus.

    Great Car Wash/Minimum Wage Article.

To me, article summarizes what will happen across all industries. They will all be forced into more and more automation. You will place your order at Burger King on your smart phone. Pay with apple pay or paypal, and pick your order up at some automated drawer or conveyor type unit.

Boom at rear of car on WW 1.0

I was talking about HP. When HP starts at the front of the car, boom goes down to third prox (from top), then comes up a bit, then goes all the way down to fourth prox (bottom one), then up, then travels to rear, boo goes down to third prox then all the way up. Why is the rear sequence not the...

Boom at rear of car on WW 1.0

Is there a way to make the boom go all the way down to the bottom prox at the rear of the car; like it does at the front?

    Rotary pump vs. Flojet

Ok---well that fuzzy math neglects the electric costs of running the pump, a $95 multiplexer, and a $?$ motor starter. Plus a 100 gph pump would not do my locations. One is a 9 bay which a flo-jet at 7 gpm does just fine. I would need 2 procons for that location, and I would need the 240 gph...

    Rotary pump vs. Flojet

From the ingersoll rand website regarding the pup: A Point-of-Use Provider (PUP) is a 3-in-1 solution for the bottom of a compressed air drop. In one compact unit, the PUP is a filter, automatic drain, and manifold for multiple distribution. PUP incorporates a high efficiency 1-micron coalescing...

    Rotary pump vs. Flojet

Sorry-- I took price out of catalog. I did not realize it was that much. But still should be worth it. I installed mine not at the air compressor, but just before the flo-jets. This site has it for $213 http://store.industrialairpower.com/42526707-Pup-NPT-Filter_p_144857.html

    Rotary pump vs. Flojet

I previously was having serious aggravation with the flo-jets. I was sending multiple units back under KR 16 month warranty. They were being covered, but they always failed when busy. As a last straw before changing to procons, I added a point of use provider filter (PUP) at one location. (KR...

    Rinnai help, code 12

How old is it? Usually it is the flame sensor and electrode after a few years. You can take them both out and sand them. This will buy you a few days until you get the parts. Both pieces together are $10-15 at the plumbing supply house. I have an RL94in, but I think these parts are the same...

Replacing / Recovering Island Canopies - Jim Coleman

No. I did fabric so the lights would show through. Metal is a great idea for next time, though. The re-done ones have been on for 2 years with no fading or tearing. They are blue; versus the yellow that was on there. The roof is blue, too.

Replacing / Recovering Island Canopies - Jim Coleman

I had my local sign company modify the frame to make it an "A". Much easier and cheaper to cover this way. I did one solid color. These things are a total waste of money, but since they were already at the wash I bought, I am happy with the re-do. Every site I have seem with the old oval...

    CAT 310 wearing out quickly

Agree with iceman. I sent one to vilco, and could never get it right. The KR units are pressed in, and have had no issues with any. And I actually have stopped sending the 5cp2120w in for warranty to cat. I just send it to KR to get fixed right- and done.
