I want to use it to send 24 volt DC signals to activate a speaker. Some of the voices take four of the outputs on at the same time, some take two or three. I did it with relays but I would like to try it with a PLC.
I need someone smarter than me to help me figure out what PLC I can use to control a speaker. I need one with at least six outputs and ten to twelve inputs. On the output side I would need to be able to energize four to five of the outputs at the same time. The outputs and inputs would be 24...
The first speaker is expensive because they have to program it how you want it and then every speaker after that cost around $500. I think the first speaker was around $1,400 and I probably have $100-$150 in relays, wagos, and the AC/DC converter.
I had the same company that makes Washworld's, (Floyd Bell) make me a custom one. I had nine voices added to it and I told him to use the same male and female voice that Washworld uses. I made a relay box with parts off of Amazon and it works like a champ.
I just installed my second one. Took out a old PDQ machine and replaced all the PVC wall panels. It took about about 2 weeks start to finish. I had two guys help me for 3 days and I did the rest my self. Customers are loving the new machine.
So far so good. People really love it. Right now it's about 60% choosing the profile 40% staying with the touch-free. My only complaint is once or twice a day I get a call when someone's off sides the machine will shut down and I have to restart it for them. Other than that it is very good machine.
I need recommendations on an air dryer for 5 hp air compressor, roughly 25 cfm. I don't have any experience with them was hoping someone here might have one that they would recommend.
