    Spot Free Pressure

That is a single phase pump. The rotation can not be backward. That only applies to three phase pumps. Pumps can get air locked. If you pull off your outgoing hose and start the pump that will release any air lock if there is one. Then re-attach hose. Most likely the pump is bad.

    Sunrise / Sunset

This is the one I used from HD that was terrible. Changed 5 locations over and a year later had to change all of them again. The ones I found like I described in my other post are very similar to the one you posted.

    Sunrise / Sunset

That style is not sold at my local HD or maybe I just did not see them when I was looking years ago. The ones I tried from HD did not have that option. I would wrap half the lens in black tape a few times to get them to come on sooner. After a year or so they would die and lights would either...

    Sunrise / Sunset

Why don't you like to light bays in bad weather? Because of money? If thats the case, LED Lights practically cost nothing to run. Very very rarely do I get someone trying to work on their car in a bay, definitely not enough to justify cutting my lights off for the whole wash during overcast days...

    Sunrise / Sunset

I understand. However, not all photo cells are made equal. Cheap ones like the kind HD sells ain’t worth a damn. They do everything you described and cannot be adjusted. I use photo cells for my exterior lighting. I purchased some from a local electrical supply that were costly but have a cover...

    Sunrise / Sunset

If your looking for something to automatically detect sunrise/sunset then you can just use a photo cell. If your looking to control equipment from your phone then I would use smart plugs. I use them for: 1. Bill changer power 2. Vending machine power 3. Pay station power 4. Open and close wash...

    Oasis Carwash Systems

What exactly are you inquiring about? Ive owned/operated Oasis IBA's for over ten years. Also have done plenty of installs new and used. Great family business like mentioned above. The I5 is based off the sonny's I5 but with many upgrades once they took it over. Its a awesome friction machine...

Pro/Cons of removing regulator on FB

Interesting. I’ve never noticed that. I’ve changed quite a few of them too. If you got it dialed in how you like it then I don’t see a need for that regulator since you can adjust it at the pump.

Pro/Cons of removing regulator on FB

There are no pros. The regulator is there so you can control the flow for the amount of product. Without one you will be wasting chemical and won’t be able to dial in a good product/air ratio. I’m not sure how you adjusted it at the pump. You should have an electric motor with a pro con pump...

    Over and out....

Im sorry to hear that. The truth is life is short. Ive never heard a dying person complain about a past investment. I have heard complaints about the places they have wished they gone and the time they wished they spent with their family. I don’t know if you have kids but take some of the money...

Fuse keeps blowing on foam brush

Even though the FLA is 8 amps does not mean your motor draws 8 amps 100% of the time. The current drawn during normal running operation is somewhere between 20% to 30% less than the FLA. Most electric motors are designed to run at 50% to 100% of the FLA. As a motor wears out the amount of...

Fuse keeps blowing on foam brush

The fuse on the coleman super saver units for foam brush needs to be a 10 amp fuse. The reason why you want a 10 amp and not a 8 amp is because the FLA of the motor is 8 amps. You want a fuse with a 20% more capacity. If you blow the 10 amp fuse then you have either bad motor (most likely), bad...

Are your not capable of processing a very simple chart? Any negative feedback is just a misinformed app user? Strange sales approach you have.

Swapping out 10hp for 15hp blower motors

I suggest you do not swap motors, but if you do take the electrical into consideration as a expense also. Heres a few things to consider: 1. Wire size 2. Breaker or fuse amperage 3. Contactor rating 4. Overload rating You will most likely need new contactors and overloads unless the ones you...

Swapping out 10hp for 15hp blower motors

Manufactures make the impellers specific to the HP of the motors. They test several different types of impellers. Then they analyze the results (air flow, exit velocity, CFM, etc) to create the best combination. I would not mix and match.

    Rowe changer parts -

Randy is right. Rowe is done. Rowe and Triad were both bought out by American Changer. I bought a new Rowe BC 1600 bill changer a few months before that happened. It was a disaster, It would sometimes take customers money without dispensing anything, then not accept anything until a power reset...

Bill changer conversion to $1 coins

Wow! Great response. First you insult me because you don't like what I had to say, then tell me I'm probably going to respond with an insult myself. You were right. You must be the modern day Nostradamus for that revelation. As far as keeping up with my meds goes, there are over 300 million...

Bill changer conversion to $1 coins

The three things you stated that I was “wrong” about : 1. Shock sensors won’t work on SS meter boxes. Like I said already, “Some self serve customers are not the most gentle when interacting with a meter box. The shock sensors will go off plenty of times a day during normal use and will...
