    D/H Vendmaster

Having an issue with my Vendmaster. The unit will accept coins, but no motors will turn once an item is selected. Bill acceptor is flashing 2 count; indicating "disabled by machine". The 7512i cashflow display reads "check vendor, disabled by machine". The 26 page manual does not address...

    Water and Electronics don't mix

Wally-do not order the replacement stems! They are $22+ each. You can replace the whole set up for $100-122 with kip solenoids. That is what I did. I got rid of all the gc. That stem design is pi$$ poor on a ss block. That happened to me several times at different locations. At first I...

    $1 Token Conversion from quarters

I agree, Randy. My 4 locations replenish about 12,000 tokens a years with a clear profit of $9720 on the walk away. It is a no brainer, in my opionion. I was thinking about doing bonus tokens, but I think I will not based on your experience.

    $1 Token Conversion from quarters

I have been vending $1 high security tokens since year 2000. I even dispense tokens as change in my auto cashiers. No quarters are dispensed on site. Plenty of signage indicating such= no problems.

    Reclaim Systems????

I have a 6 year old Con-Serv system with self-cleaning filter, and I have a 2 year old Pur-Clean system. I like both systems, as they have been virtually maintenance free. I would steer towards the Pur-Clean as it filters to 5 microns. The Con-Serv is 25 microns. (Their newer systems may...

    10% Tanning Tax is Racist

My wife had one bed in her salon. When this tax came out, she made the decision to take the bed out. I removed it one day before the tax went into effect. She can use that room for something else; without collecting an extra tax. This government is going to tax us all out of business; unless...

    AC8001 printer problem

Yes. I like their machines, as I have 8 of them. But they can not seem to make a printer that works properly all the time. Take an air duster and blow it out good, put the paper in and lock it, then turn the machine off for 5 seconds, then back on. If you still get printer failed, it is the...

    GO Solar!

Mid-Atlantic. Yes, I think it makes sense to do solar hot water wherever the Sun shines. A Closed loop system makes it usable year round.

    GO Solar!

First pic is 7.2kW system-total cost $60k, municipality covered 50%, so I paid $30k (just installed Feb '10). About 5% of my needs; monthly electric savings $125+/- Second pic is 18kW system-total cost $150k, state covered 50%, so I paid $75k (installed Feb '09). I just received my first...

    GO Solar!

The Sun is always shining. I used a combination of state energy grants, federal tax credits, electric savings, and the future sale of solar renewable energy credits (srecs) to install solar pv systems at three of my locations. Approximate payback considering all components is about 5-6 years...

    reclaim systems

Every company I spoke with did recommend the ozone for odor. But they try to come up with other options to keep the cost down. I agree with you, that ozone should be standard---because it works. Recalim is a big decision, and you certainly want to do it right the first time. On the humidity...

    reclaim systems

I have two washes that have all the bays leading into the reclaim tanks. I reclaim at one with the Pur-Clean system. I have not had any issues. I do have ozone, and I clean the screen filter twice per week. It is easy to do and only takes a couple of minutes. Ozone is the only thing that is...

Phone # on door has got to go

Wally: Many, many people have tried. There will always be some who are this way. No matter what signs you put up, no matter what you tell them, no matter what--here is the bottom line: YOU SIMPLY CAN NOT FIX STUPIDITY!!

Tieing Self Serves into reclaim system

I have a pur clean unit. It is a 60 gpm that has been in service since March '09. I have been very happy with it. I am recovering about 50% of water used on two friction ibas. I had thought about adding it to the wash/soap cycle only on the ss. But after reading these posts, I may put that...
