Looking for a thermostat for floor heater

I thought of Brock-Mcvey a while back but for some reason completely forgot about them. I was next them them twice today too! I also have a Johnstone supply down the street, so I will check them out as well. I never thought about the concrete idea, it's probably better then where I have...

Looking for a thermostat for floor heater

My floor heater in one wash is currently setup where I have to manually turn it on. First a switch for the pump and then another for the heater itself. Needless to say it it a PITA and I barely use it. I want to hook it up to a thermostat so that it comes on automatically but can't seem to...

    Well, I think I got robbed. {American Changer/Mars}

I have Hamilton changers with Mars acceptors and one time just over a year ago during a lighting storm one of my boxes was just giving out change for free. It ended up erroring out and shutting down, but not before it gave out over $50. I checked on the camera and saw it happen, so other than...

    Super Saver Pump Stand owners

I use the storage tanks and just put extra 5 gallon buckets under them. They last a long time and it's easy to pour a five gallon bucket of chemical into the tank. You will probably have siphoning issues as I did and many others. Putting in check valves in the attic fix the problem. Though I...

Importance of offering Tri-Foam and Spot Free?

Thanks for the picture. Isn't that basically two 180 booms? Maybe I don't know what a 180 boom is? I was looking for a setup that didn't use a boom at all. I saw a picture of one that just used a swivel.

Importance of offering Tri-Foam and Spot Free?

Does anyone here have tri-foam in the bays and not use a 180 boom? I have seen some pictures of washes that just use a swivel and then the curly hose. I was wondering if anyone had that setup and if they could comment on how it works for them? Thanks.

    Bay signs

I am very lenient with bucket washers and dryers when the bays are not full. When they are, I kindly ask them to move out. Most of the time it's not an issue, but a couple of times I've had people argue and continue on like they owned the place. That's when I have to get nasty. Nothing worse...

    Bay signs

I would love it if there was some way to speak to the customers from afar. Lord knows how many times I am watching the cameras and I wish I could say something to whomever is in the bay or at the automatic.

    Bay signs

I have tried many different signs, different placement, etc. Bottom line is that most customers don't read signs, and the ones that do just ignore them. Good luck.

Importance of offering Tri-Foam and Spot Free?

On one of my washes I offer both tri-foam and spot-free for the self serve bays but neither gets used that much. This location is generally slow and the clientele are not big spenders, so I am not sure how much I can use that as a gauge. I have been considering adding one or both to my other...

Anyone have experience with PUR CLEAN spot free systems?

I figured that if no softener was required, then it would have to be made up somehow. I wondered what the cost of the convenience would be. I'll probably give them a call and find out.

Anyone have experience with PUR CLEAN spot free systems?

You are correct, I do not have a water softener. I think what the PURCLEAN does is to eliminate the need for a softener.

Anyone have experience with PUR CLEAN spot free systems?

I have been wanting to add spot free to my ss wash for a while, but due to space limitations it was impossble. I ran across this system that doesn't need a salt tank, so I though that with one less big tank required, I might be able to swing it, especially if I get rid of my large water tank...

    Need advice on transporting vacuums

I would be picking up Jim Coleman combo vacs. 5 oval shaped (larger and heavier) and two of the round shape. Here is a link to the trailer I was going to rent: http://www.uhaul.com/Reservations/EquipmentDetail.aspx?model=HO I had planned on blankets and straps, but bolting them to wood for...

    Need advice on transporting vacuums

I plan on transporting 7 vacs from what is a 6-7 hour drive and have been getting conflicting opinions on the best way. My two options are to rent a box truck or to rent a 6x12 open trailer with ramp from u haul. The sides on the trailer are about 2 feet high. Total weight of vacs is around...

    How much time for Fragrance

Yes, if you could explain your procedure it would be appreciated. I fell like it is cleaner and easier to manage the gun when you control when the spray comes out. Thanks.

    How much time for Fragrance

What brand machines are you using? Mine does shoot out an atomized mist, it just seems very strong compared to my JC units.
