Talk to your Kondor rep. They may be able to help you get it looking more appealing. Then talk to a chemical rep about helping you dial in the chemicals and the wash packages. You do not want to challenge customers with railings or pressure pads on the floor - a big turn off for customers...
Wish it was that simple. Some of the LED lights work, just a lot of are out, and they are in series so the overall line works. We just stopped replacing them - customers really don't care about them. The Spectra Ray lights are more impactful.
The small LEDS never seem to last, happens on the Razor Luma arch in less than one year, so we would recommend not using the LED strings. They are a pain to change too.
Our rep discouraged us from multiple brush passes but we do use the F4P option on the top two packages. We also include the HP Arm and power wheels so we have a lot going on. It is a neat machine would love to see if we can make it faster in the future but still a huge step up from the Istobal.
Yes easy to do. We only use the brushes on one pass since they clean really well on just one pass. The challenge is getting good pre soak coverage and then creating dwell time. The more we experiment the more I think it is not wise to make a TF package on the profile.
Do you offer a package on the profile that does not use the brushes? That is what we are considering. Our packages on the razor and profile are the same in terms of chemicals but debating the merits of having a single top package on the profile that does not use brushes.
Profile has an auto home feature and resets itself on a major fault. Cannot compare a Profile to an Istobal. Both clean well but difference is customer and owner experience. Just fine tuning the wash packages now but overall a great upgrade for us.
I am intrigued by the Petit but hard to...
Still using the system for now. Probably switching to a weep solution soon. System seems to work after adjusting the air pressure but not a great solution.
We replaced the center Aerodryer with two new center dryers on a cross bar. The aero dryers take up a lot of floor space. We had to remove the center one so it could be moved to be in line with the side dryers. Got us an extra 4’ of bay length for the profile which requires a long bay.
Experimenting with it as a combo. Not clear if a good idea or not. Programming well you can program any computer to do what you wish. HP Arms do not pass the 1/2 way point and do not apply chemicals plus you need to create a soak or dwell time so not intended for TF (today if WW listening)...
Just completed our new Profile install. It’s a beast in comparison to our Razors. A combo of a true double arm double barrel with a with very soft cloth. Very excited to see the customer experience and reactions. Has anyone with a Profile offered a touch free wash package as an option...
You are probably busy due to offering a great touch free wash experience. Hard to compete with a tunnel so not worth lowering your value with an unlimited program. You are always open and are TF, attributes that are worth something extra to many car wash owners.
We upgraded one changer and two paystations to a Mars bill acceptor with a Hamilton conversion kit. You need to check that your changer can accept the kit. Mars acceptors are much better than the XEs which jam often. If looking at new consider a Hamilton DRS if the same size footprint as your...
We have the same KR meter boxes. You definitely need to make certain the wires do not block the chute or path of the coins to the vault every time you open the panel to empty the bill acceptor. May need to use zip ties to keep wires away. In 5 plus years we only had one coin backup due to a...
