    55 Gal Container mover

Anyone know of a good 55-gal container mover? Would like to be able to use the savings from 55 gal containers but do not want to break my back. The 30gal containers are already a solid workout. I see a few 55 gal caddies on Zoro but skeptical that they would make it easy to move 440lbs...

    F4 tornado hit our wash

If you think they are low balling you hire an insurance advocate. They will know the insurance system better than you and be your rep for a commission. My brother in law had a fire in his house and the insurance company offered a fraction of the cost to repair the house until he hired an advocate.

    Coinless site require bill breaker?

I don’t see any up or down side to a bill breaker if you are changing for currency (instead of tokens). We change for dollar coins and people are fine with twenty gold dollar coins. Just one more device to make certain you can keep from becoming empty.

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Clearly Solar is not for all areas of the country (today) but as the tech moves towards becoming a roof shingle the issue will disappear.

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Our 4x 300’ deep holes in the ground take up little area. Six weeks after the first drill hit the dirt you would not know that we had holes in our yard for geo. I did have alittle fun playing with our neighbors telling them that we were drilling for oil. I was told at the time by the...

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Natural gas is probably a more efficient and better heating approach than oil or electric for sure. It still has a lot of costs to extract the gas and to get it to where it is needed. Very expensive to put natural pipe lines to all homes. Long term geo thermal is better. Solar is a mixed...

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Yes the cost is the issue holding back geo thermal adoption. If I recall back 10 years ago when we installed it the cost was $40-$50k for two 3 ton systems. Our two Freon AC units were failing and the cost to replace them was about $20k. The cost to find the leaks in the current systems...

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Elevation above sea level is a factor. Geo is not a solution for all places but look at all the big cities at or near sea level. Denver is a pass but there are plenty of cities such that we could reduce the strain on the current old transmission infrastructure. Here is an idea for some...

    Dollar coins, tokens, and vending

If you only have mechanical laurels then you have to make a choice between quarters and dollar coins. There is a dollar mechanical for laurels (from KR). If you have digital laurels then I believe you can program them to acceptor both. we swapped 8 laurels for a vending machine. After you...

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Visit Iceland. The country gets a significant portion of their heat and energy from geo thermal power such that they heat some of the sidewalks in the main downtown shopping area so snow does not accumulate. 85% of the homes there are heated & cooled by geo thermal. You can take a tour of the...

    Dixmor LED-7 Timer Obsoleted

Anyone using the IDX GIGA Timer GT-200? Someone recommended we consider a switch from Dixmor7 for our new meter boxes given the recent issue. Specs look interesting.

    Dixmor LED-7 Timer Obsoleted

I heard from Dixmor that the chip or board used in the LED7 is also used in some car models and that the car industry just purchased them all for the foreseeable future. Hence the redesign. Saw the LED8 at the nrcc last month, you could not tell the difference.

I wonder if you are not using enough Spot Free water as the last pass to clean off the car such that some regular water drops remain to cause the streaks or spots. What type of automatic are you using? We had a random issue with our Razor where depending on the pass setup excess chemical was...

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

price of gas was under $2 for a good amount of time in 2020 and the beginning of 2021 in many states. No gas producing company went out of business from lower prices. Yes demand or driving decreased due to the pandemic. if farmers changed their prices for milk as quickly and as often as the...

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

Did not take long for me to regret answering the original question if the Oval Office person impacts our business as it only gives the Right Wing(nuts) to a place to post their make believe ideas.

    Poll: Biden vs. Trump's era

No. The person in the Oval office is a red herring regardless if a GOP or a Dem. Too many people just want to find someone else to blame for a challenging situation as it is easier than working to fix the issue or challenge. I cannot stand Trump (who is a know nothing jerk) or Biden (who is...

No idea on the financials. They are located in a busy part of VA, next to a large gas station, and have been pushing their membership programs from day one plus the wash offers free central vacs like a tunnel. I think the bays are 60' so they can process more cars than a normal IBA. It is a...
