    HELP!!!!!! Washworld Razor Double Barrel

I do not have my computer with me but specs are for the smaller profile that will fit in a 10’3” height. WW redesigned the Profile slightly for a major customer (Sheetz) and I have purchased the same version. Instead of washing a car up to 7’6” my height max will be 7’ which is fine for us...

    HELP!!!!!! Washworld Razor Double Barrel

Outside dryers have some advantages. We have them outside a 30’ bay with a Razor. Allows next customer to enter when one is going thru the dryers.

    HELP!!!!!! Washworld Razor Double Barrel

The arch on the DB is double thick so the machine requires at least 6" of additional bay height. It is big beefy looking machine. We are waiting to see the machine in action at a location a few hours away and then waiting for V2 as WW works out the initial design flaws. No different than...

    HELP!!!!!! Washworld Razor Double Barrel

Wow, not good for WW. We are just placing an order for a Profile Max. What is the length of your bay for the Profile? Do you have onboard or off board dryers? Our bay is 40' but the last 5'-6' are the big offboard dryers.

    Selling the wash

Depends on your risk tolerance and if you plan to dig below the pavement to change the place. Most banks look for ways to not lend money for a car wash. Asking for a phase 2 study is becoming more common. We looked at a wash that had a phase 2 done by the seller as it usually stays with the...

Is a recess coming? Is it time to get panicky?

If anything changes I would wager that more customers seek out monthly plans so they can wash their cars weekly but only pay for 2 washes per month.

    Washworld Profile Power Wheel Detailer

If you place the power towers too close to the guidelines customers use for entering the bay the Razor arm will have an issue and get stuck on the tower nozzles if you have an extended bed truck. We made the mistake placing them close to the vehicles near the entrance and in line with the UC in...

Is a recess coming? Is it time to get panicky?

If china opens up for normal trade and manufacturing you will start to see the supply chain issues subside. People do not appreciate how much of our goods is manufactured there. When they lock down major cities for several months at a time it causes major headaches here. There used to be a...

    Depreciation Expenses

If you depreciate over one year or over multiple years your total depreciation number is the same. The reason to do one year is that you can carry forward any unused depreciation so it will be available in following years if you do not use it all in the first year. Keep in mind that...

    HTK Loyalty Programs

I wonder if CryptoPay will develop and app that works with their swipers as many on the forum already have their swipers in place - if they were smart they would do so.....

My pre soak soap is just spitting air.

Your air gauge appears to read zero. Product value needs to be above air value. Often I use 30-70 psi for product depending on the product and 20-40 for air. Definitely need air to be above product value by 15-20 psi.

    Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign…

Customers do not read, anything. I placed a simple to read sign next to the meter box giving away $5 for the SS bay to use our loyalty card (preloaded with $5 that we give away). I can easily count the number of cards we have given away. When asked people say they never saw the sign - we just...

    carwashconsignment.com BEWARE!

Juggling the expectations of a buyer and seller can be challenging. We paid $80/day for a forklift or $400 for a solid week. When we sold two complete wash systems at different times we gave Amy and the buyer the dates of the solid week when we had the folklift and we only had a deal when the...

Upgrading from a GL to a Commander

The two people I spoke with is not a huge data set. The main issues were replacing several hardware components in the first two years and integration with the DAN system. There was a minor issue with slow cc processing too but that could be due to the cc processor. Once the issues where fixed...

Upgrading from a GL to a Commander

I have put my upgrade on pause after speaking with a few commander owners. I will wait until some of the bugs are ironed out. I suspect they are working on an upgrade to that system.

    New Changer

We have a DRS, it is a workhorse. Only thing we upgraded was the 2 MARS bill holders to the 1000 note version. KR has the best prices. Do not get the Hamilton XE bill acceptor as they were a recurring headache.
