    Sludge Sucker ?

I use the Handi-Clam to dig it out onto the bay floor and let it dry there. That's the worst of the work. I was doing this at another wash and only had to dig one pit a month. The dry mud is much easier to deal with.

    Sludge Sucker ?

There are most likely going to be other challenges than just getting it there for 50¢ per ton. I don't know what state you're in or what the laws there are, some of the laws that pertain to this are federal and are to do with transporting what is considered hazardous waste on public roads. I'm...

    Presoak through Foam gun?

The tip isn't the problem. You have a lot of sputtering and slow coverage. The presoak is too weak or doesn't have enough foaming agent.

    Sludge Sucker ?

I have used the sludge sucker. It does work, but it has several major drawbacks. You have to add a lot of water to get it to move the mud, you can't just drop it in the pit and have it pull, you have to manipulate the hose which gets very heavy and spray water into the mud to liquify it. Then...

    Presoak through Foam gun?

Ryancross11's video for people to view without having to download it: IMO your presoak could be stronger and may need more liquid pressure. If I were to do presoak from a separate gun, I'd want it to cover like snow foam. Coleman's medium-pressure presoak is a joke. It takes too long to...

Poll: I plan on taking a few days off this summer to relax.

I was really surprised the homeless didn't set up camp in my bays the two times it's been closed.

World Pay SNEAKY review trackers fee $$

You should be able to opt out of any PCI compliance fees since PCI compliance isn't mandatory and Cryptopay hardware doesn't store any card data.

    Advice on welders

Yeah, I didn't want to spend that much, and as I mentioned I won't have the room to get two hands in the box to weld and feed.

The biggest risk I have taken as a self serve owner….

I agree with hardening the tubes, I'd wrap wire mesh around them and mold mortar or small aggregate concrete around them.

Poll: I plan on taking a few days off this summer to relax.

Evidently you've never had your water main break under the main entry. It's very easy to close a car wash for up to three weeks. Just turn off all the power and put up barricades.

    Presoak through Foam gun?

You will need either a relay or a wire jumpered to the second rotary switch stack to use the same air solenoids. It's pretty easy to do either one. If you don't have an unused wire, you will need to do it with a relay.

    Advice on welders

This has the same basic description as the Klutch ST80i. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200833033_200833033 I should be able to do what I need with stainless sticks, at least I won't have to worry about the weld rusting, and if it works I can try TIG welding. The price seems...

How to inject in underbody wash

You can use a downstream injector but you lose about 20% of the pressure, otherwise you would have to introduce your chemical before the high pressure pump.

The biggest risk I have taken as a self serve owner….

He probably means the pipe leading from the coin box to the safe. Crooks will break the pipe and run a hose down into the vault to vacuum out the coins. I had that very thing happen about a month ago at a wash I look after.

    Motor bearing replacement

It's not hard to replace the bearings. Ideally you would do it with a press, but I've done it with hand tools and a piece of aluminum C channel. I keep meaning to get a 12 ton hydraulic press from Harbor Freight, which is only $170, but they're always out.

    Advice on welders

I've seen a number of video reviews of Harbor Freight welders and most people say they work well enough. I figure at $200/hr or more to get someone to come out, it's worth buying a cheap one for a few quick welds and maybe some practice later.

    Advice on welders

If anyone here has advice on this, I'm not looking into getting into professional welding or anything structural rated, I just need to get a few things done and if I can do it at minimal cost, and it doesn't have to look good. Harbor Freight has a MIG welder that can be used without gas and...
