You may have to call locl welders to see who welds aluminum. As far as " they claim theyve never had that happen before " well it happened now and absent evidence of abuse that is what warranties are for. Imagine if this was the response to any warranty claim.

I think you need to re visit your premise vis a vis wanting "Wax" and today's car finishes. I think that having a product with "Wax" in it has little marketing value. You should consider a product that provides good "Show" and good effect at a good value for you and go from there.

IMO this is not correct. For the SS Bay the sides of the car need t be illuminated down to the floor. Centering lights will not illuminate this area. In a EE Tunnel if the customer is in the car centering would be correct. If they are looking in from a side hall same rationale as a SS Bay...

I there is an issue with the swiper hitting when the door opens, perhaps you could do a "Standoff" like I did on my vacs but to make swiping easier. I took 2 pieces of 3/16 lexan and made a base plate - doubled it up and this goes between base of swiper and door.
