    RO System

There's probably chemical backing up into the below-ground tank for the water to be blue.

Air Shammee vs Air Shammee II

A motor starter for a 3-phase motor is definitely better, otherwise if you lose a leg the motor will just hum without turning until it burns up.

Help with spot free delivery pump

It doesn't sound like it's worth fixing. It may be something mechanical that keeps it from starting, but if the motor is failing too I don't see it worth fixing. It's much cheaper to replace with a Procon, easier to service in the future, and it produces more pressure.

Help with spot free delivery pump

What pump is it? Backflow to a multistage pump shouldn't harm the pump, but backpressure could damage the seals. A Procon pump will get damaged by backpressure, but it should still run.

    Peco hydraulic unit help

What's with the crap all over the floor? Don't "fill" the unit, hydraulic fluid expands when it warms up and the tank will overflow. If the manufacturer has any brains, they'd set the float switch so it's at the full level to come on. Ideally the unit will shut off from a broken hose without...

Where are you located and what is your start-up price/minutes?

And changer maintenance, and break-ins, and how would you estimate the cost of worrying your cash (that you can't even insure) is going to get stolen?

    PVC liner paneling cleaning

This should be done on new paneling as a test before buying it. Good paneling won't pick up those black marks. I've seen paneling that won't even let spray paint or permanent marker stick.

    Best Pit Cleaner

I've used one. I used it to transfer the fine silt out of the secondary trap back into one of the bay pits so it could settle out to be shoveled. It works great for that, and it will move heavy mud but it takes a lot of water to agitate it. I think the crustbuster thing might be enough to let...

    New IBA called Plover

The page makes it look more like a start-up company than an actual machine sales site, there are no videos on YouTube of their unit, and the description in your link to the site doesn't even mention equipment - "Plover, Inc. builds tools for running your carwash including payment processing...

    Getting some touch free ideas

Just curious, why are you limiting yourself to touch free? There are lots of good friction machines that have an extremely low rate of damage to cars, they clean better, and the cost of operation is a fraction of touch-free.

    What's your favorite single-coin acceptor?

I'm doing some work on a chain of washes and would appreciate some feedback on which of these single-coin acceptors you prefer. No, there's no current or future plan to accept tokens or dollar coins. Slugbuster II is not a consideration.

    Shampoo spot removers, brands.

I use Scotch Plaid's shampoo concentrate, one quart makes six gallons of product that "dry foams" really well, smells good, and cleans great. I haven't had a problem with it sliming or molding as long as I rinse the plastic tank in the Fragramatics machine about once a year. I don't like it in...

    $10,000 in a Change Machine?

A Hamilton 3600RL with three hoppers could hold over $10k in dollar coins. It's also possible the guy was keeping his paper money for the month in the changer.

    Nozzles on WashWorld Razor/Profile

Not MEG. They lose almost all of their impact about 6" away. Last time I ran an automatic I changed the factory MEG tips to veespray and saw an improvement in cleaning. I've never tried IMEG. General Pump makes nozzle kits for a lot of touchless autos.

Where are you located and what is your start-up price/minutes?

Austin Texas, $1.50 for 3 minutes bays, $1.00 for 3½ minutes vacs. No CC yet, will probably go with $2 start on vacs and bays same time as cash.

    Mixed denomination Bill Counter

You won't find a sorter in this price range. They start around $2,000. A friend of mine bought the cheap counter from Sam's. His worked fine. I bought one, and I can't get it to count more than five bills at a time before it jams. Utterly useless. I spent three hours with it trying to...
