    Need Small Claims advice

Good Luck with that = My advice = if you get assigned to that judge ask for an immediate change of judge. Typicaly you have a right to one change.

    Need Small Claims advice

My experience - Flip a coin. Have had judges say stupid stuff "I know how those car washes can throw the car off the track and throw it back on again" Van with 15 PSI in RF tire and 60 PSI in LF jumps track " You could have checked that before you washed it " etc. Best hop if they find...

We’re about out of the car wash business, can’t take much more

Perhaps SS Car Washes have a higher incidence of this. Perhaps not. I live in what is usually considered a nicer suburb. Have had gunshots near my house a coupe of times and even one hit about 3/4 mile away where one scumbag was targeting another who happened to be traveling in the area.

911- “Shots fired- send help NOW!!!”

Happened near one of my places recently. Drug deal went bad and there was a shooting. One of the people involved ran a block an into a Starbucks where he had some friends waiting for him and the local politician railed against the Starbucks as being a haven for troublemakers.

Where did you get your business loan?

The other difficulty is getting zoning. The first order of business would be to see if the Alderman for that location is amenable to re zoning the property. If they are not amenable you might as well stop your efforts now.

    SS bays weep adjustment

For filtering it makes no difference. I forget which way it goes but water enters outside the screen and exits inside. The shampoo vacs don't really fit any other way than up but having it down results in less spillage when you take it off for cleaning.

Where did you get your business loan?

I understand the Chicago market and with no competition for those distances and with that traffic I am surprised there are not any tunnels - yet.

    SS bays weep adjustment

Just a suggestion. I use needle valve as well but perhaps a "Gate" valve might work without clogging. Once you get it where you want it use a zip tie thru the knob to keep it where you want it so vibrations don't affect it.

    Tunnel heat units

I have found in this industry that certain electricians, contractors and plumbers know the car wash operations and can do the job. The rest my be geniuses for most projects but are sadly lacking knowledge in how to do things in a car wash facility.

    Tunnel heat units

FWIW I am in Chicago and would not consider less than 2 330K BTU modines for a tunnel up to 100' and my tunnels over that have 3- one in the center. Entry and exit units (Except where i have a right turn exit) are positioned a foot or so off the sidewall a couple of feet inside the door...

    Belanger QuickFire Wraparounds

You will have to ask him. Are the air cylinders for retract? Is the Stabilizer kit for a shock that runs from the horizontal arm to the vertical arm to minimize swing? (if that is what it is i do not have them and don't want them. Had them on my sonny's and IMO the brush if not rotating...

    Belanger QuickFire Wraparounds

I had the previous incarnation. Worked great so long as you pay a lot of attention to them. The last set I saw at a show may or may not have been refined by now but they had air controls and adjustments, perhaps air over oil controls that governed retraction and extension. These required...

Wash purchase at 3rd party Pumps

There are 2 basic options. #1. Gas station sells washes and customer tenders a receipt at the wash. Periodically the wash provides receipts to Gas station with an invoice. Did this successfully for a while until the Gas Station changed ownership and somehow the new owner felt that it did...

Weep Mizer out put 2 setting - Heat cable

The one FB that froze had a bad handle stopping the weep. Had only one other issue with 2 weeks where it din't get above 20 degrees and that FB issue resolved itself when it got warmer. That was goofier because weep kept working but no foam soap. May be a check valve up top froze. But...

    Advice on coin acceptors

I solved my SB II popping open issue by using a piece of tape to keep it closed. Easy on and off if there is a jam.
