Anybody here would get a used Tire shine machine, for a tunnel or IBA Xpress model? I ask, cause they're crazy expensive. Seems like it would take forever to get your money back. Or, is a used Tire Machine something to stay away from? I know used dryers are a very smart business decision

Jim, I would go up 1 qrtr, to $1.75. Currently $1.50/3 minutes. Id definitely rip out the old LW,& install a friction (leaning Oasis i5). The lot by WalMart is incredibly enticing, & working on it as we speak. I am 90 miles from these, but would definitely use the local CarWash tech.

Whats the NEW material? What all did you like about Freestyler, compared to ther IBAs & why? What was price, support, distributor network, speed & quality like?

I'd definitely replace the old LW4000, cause it is REALLY OLD, & town has no confidence in it. Building new makes a ton of sense (new equipment, great site, less labor costs, close to ssme gross potential)...but having to start from new (instead of buying established biz) is nerve wracking.

This is 1 of the better threads on here in a while. Although I'm like a couple others. I can't hardly see 6000cars/month potential out of 2 IBAs, unless it was 100% lowest dryer free pkg. Fpr a good price/car avg, 6k cpm puts you doing $1MILLION dollars per year! That is simply mind boggling...
