    Ideas?? Dema Injector Issue

I usually try not to ask the obvious questions, but you did restrict the DEMA to make it draw? I don't know what model you used, but the ones with a variable flow have to be trimmed to your flow or you'll never create a suction.

    Frozen Texas Washes

Mostly yes in central Texas. A lot of washes don't even have heat in the room, even then only minimal, usually electric. A lot of people lost electric, water, and gas, and the roads were undrivable. I thought I was well prepared, I blew out the lines and shut off power to the bays, but by the...

no functions are working in my bay ???

That's usually a dead short from timer output to common. When you replaced the switch, you might have gotten wires out of position, so you've disconnected whatever was shorted to common. This is more of a random guess, but my bet would be the initial problem is the contactor coil.

    Pro-Press vs Soldered copper fittings

I don't see any advantage to the ProPress fittings over regular soldered except the speed on a new job. I've seen it done, I agree it's faster, and if it's worked into the bid the extra cost doesn't matter, but for repairs I'll stick with traditional. There have been too many times where I had...

    Frozen Texas Washes

I won't know how bad mine is until it gets above freezing. I bought a kerosine heater but didn't know there wouldn't be power to run it while it's 5 degrees outside, nor be able to get there and drain the lines. I just hope I can get to it and shut off the water main before it thaws.

I had to make heavy brackets for padlocks. The regular hasps won't keep them out.

Contract labor, doesn't matter if it's full or part time, and OP said it's a part time position.

    Wax recommendations

I don't remember which one I used, but for a while I used a Simoniz wax that was around $45/pail. It was lemon or citrus scented, foamed and beaded really well.

    Help replacing/mounting meters

I would have a welder come in, build some sort of structure inside with studs so you can cut the holes, slip in the new boxes and secure them inside, including and especially behind the vault.

    Legal formalities before Hiring Someone

You can always pay contract labor and let him worry about taxes. You don't have to deal with anything except for filing his pay with a 1099. It makes it a non-issue as far as firing since he's not an employee. Beyond that, it's just a matter of whether he's of legal age to work in your state.

FWIW you might end up paying more for plastic domes than for replacing stainless. You might want to price them both.

Cat 310 - Water in the Oil

This is correct, however you can replace the oil seals without breaking down the crankcase. Remove the plungers, take an old, worn flathead screwdriver if you have one, turn the pulley until the piston is all the way back, insert the screwdriver as shown. It doesn't have to be in this exact...
