Mine got wet today, so good timing I guess.

    Q-See cameras out of business

I think that's just for PC viewing, which I couldn't get to work on Windows 10.

    Q-See cameras out of business

Same here. I've already bought a replacement, I guess I need to swap them out.

    Thawing frozen hoses

I can't think of a better time to thaw out frozen hoses than when it's warm.

1 of 5 bays continues to freeze due to jammed check valve

I like the individual solenoids for weep (It prevents the low pressure functions from getting diluted), but there's definitely a better way to do it than how Mark VII and D/H did things.

1 of 5 bays continues to freeze due to jammed check valve

I don't get what swapping weep lines would accomplish. It's the same water, just from another hose, right? What is the other check valve just upstream for? Spot free to the bay?

    Cryptopay and Dixmor coin counting

It can't tell the difference if the swiper is just wired in together with the coin acceptor, but maybe yours is wired to the secondary credit input.

no functions are working in my bay ???

Fuse blown on transformer would mean no power at all. He has low-voltage power to the bay and coin acceptor.

    Cryptopay and Dixmor coin counting

That's how you would need to do it for the timer counter to read CC spent. Can you even run count-down without coin pulses to the timer? And yes, LED6 and LED7 would work the same.

1 of 5 bays continues to freeze due to jammed check valve

It kind of sounds like you're changing the wrong check valve. Can you post some pictures?

no functions are working in my bay ???

Are you certain the timer you put in was good? Try a timer from a known working bay just to be sure. What kind of timer is it?

    Cryptopay and Dixmor coin counting

If you run count-down it will because it will just send coin pulses. With count-down, you can use the timer's coin counts.

    Major life decision

He was run off this forum, not because of his opinions but because of his attitude when someone didn't accept them. Be prepared if you talk to him, he's extremely narrow-minded on how things should be done, basically go EE or go broke. He's "taken his ball and gone home" from dozens of threads...

    Short drop coin acceptors

I don't want to have to pick through the quarters for dollar coins. If I miss one it'll jam the changer. My tokens are worth 25¢ so I just dump them in the changer with the quarters. I don't remember what alloy, they're just cheap .984 from Hoffman. I had tokens from someone else that were...

    Short drop coin acceptors

I'm switching from SB II and SB III to Microcoin QL. Slugbuster II's will take a dollar coin but give credit for a quarter. I don't take dollar coins, so I bought a couple SB III just to be able to reject them, but if you drop a dollar coin (or a token that isn't yours) through several times...
