    Arimitsu Pump leaking

The pump should provide enough resistance to keep the gravity feed from running in the bay.

No, they all get like that.

    Dumpster odor

You do get a lot - I have an 8 yard and it's emptied only once a week, and I feel like I get a lot of trash. This is what I get on a typical Saturday or Sunday if I can't get to the wash twice a day.

The Walking Dead fans will appreciate this

There's a local guy who has done the same thing, including turning off all the lights. He's been doing that for about 20 years because he pays an electric bill for lights just for people to hang out all night, drink and leave a mess, and no income to show for it. I'm about to post "No...

    Arimitsu Pump leaking

There may be a solenoid on that supply line. If there is, that is what's bad.

Self-Serve High Pressure hoses wearing out

I drive an extended Ford Transit 250, and I can get around that very easily. I see people washing bucket trucks and cube vans all the time and they don't seem to have any trouble. I could go at least two feet longer on the hoses without them dragging the ground, but as it is there's already...

Self-Serve High Pressure hoses wearing out

There are wrapped pressure hoses that hold up better against dragging on the ground, but I agree with the other advice, they shouldn't be dragging on the ground. I'll check mine, but that sounds pretty accurate. FWIW I don't like when the hose hits my ankles when I walk around a car. It's the...

I forgot to add they're doing this to drive off the homeless who hang around and sleep on the property at night.

The auto parts store across from my wash started blasting this last night, pretty sure it's this same loop:

    Credit card processing

I've heard nothing good about Worldpay. What about them do you recommend? You have to use them with Cryptopay, you can't bring your own merchant processing.

    Cleaning Wall Paneling in Bays???

Get extra acid brushes when brushing on muriatic acid - I can barely get one use out of them before most of the bristles come off.

    Credit card processing

Costco used to offer one that had something ridiculously low like 1.2% processing and no transaction fees.

    Vac is shutting down

It has a 3" coin acceptor so it's probably closer to 30. IMO it has to be the timer. If the coin acceptor was the problem, it would give too many or too few coin pulses - the only timer that could behave this way with a bad acceptor would be the IDX AT411 (It would cancel the time if the coin...

Best Salt Brand for Water Softener

There are no cams for setting a Fleck twin tank. There are pins that set the brine refill which is what determines how much salt it uses. It's a simple calculation to determine.

Tinned appearance of 18 gauge copper cable wire?.

Aluminum will have a lot more voltage drop for a long distance than copper. Maybe search for a resource online to tell you what to expect.

    Pushlok check valves

If there's an individual solenoid for each soap and wax, just swap the lines so the "IN" goes to the pump. The spring pressure should be enough to keep it from flowing with the solenoid closed. D/H equipment has been that way since the mid-70's.

    Cleaning Wall Paneling in Bays???

If your Klean Wall is separated, it's old and probably bad. I've had some that sat around for six months and just wouldn't clean any more.

    Self Service vs Express Tunnels

My wash has one extra-wide bay (meant for handicap access) but the pickups, roach coaches, and bigger/taller vehicles prefer it.
