The solenoid coil for rinse may be burned out, or there's a direct short in the wiring to it.

You'll need the softener manual, the specs of the softener (Tank size, rating, or number of cubic feet of media it holds) and a hardness test kit to figure that out.

Usually, unless the pump is either completely bad or has lost prime. Sometimes it'll reprime by turning the air all the way down, but I've usually had to crack the outlet fitting loose to get the pump flooded before it would start working again. The fact that the air pressure is also affecting...

Would you consider a setup that would fill the tank with methanol soap and purge all the lines? I have a ladder program for a relay somewhere that would use a solenoid and reed switch to fill the tank and then purge each bay. Cost would be minimal.

I looked back on his previous posts and saw that he has a JC super saver. What he describes here is exactly what I've seen happen when the pump has completely failed or has lost prime. I guess he's gone the last three years with no tire cleaner...

Your pump is either bad or has lost prime.

The difference is that each solenoid opens to allow only one product to flow on demand, where a dual tip setup on a Hydrominder will mix two together from concentrates into a tank to be pumped when called for.

I put the plastic plumbing right on the Hydrominder. It seems to work accurately.

I've made dual tip setups with 1/4" plastic fittings. The only specialty thing you need is an extra eductor tip. I tried brass but the chemicals ate through it pretty quickly.
