People pulling out fragrance machine hose

Don't remove too much rubber. That's what holds it in. It's really tough to screw it in far enough that it can't be pulled out, but it can be done.

People pulling out fragrance machine hose

I've never had any trouble with the Fragramatics hose staying in, but you need to screw it in at least an inch past the end of the hose that's been skived. The screws that it came with plus a hose clamp tight against the nut should be more than enough to keep it from getting pulled out again...

    Sensortron Coin Counter

I would too, the Parker equivalent to the Sensortron (P-47) is both cheaper up front and cheaper to have repaired. IMO pretty equally reliable.

Barstock Fittings & Max Operating Pressures

My supplier's catalog lists the flare to MPT fittings at 2000 PSI working pressure, and those fittings are machined from barstock. FWIW, the ones Kleen-Rite sells are not very good, I've had tees start to leak after a few years on LP systems without even caustic chemicals running through them...

    Cars per day

Obviously most of that traffic count is people passing through. I have doubts that you'll draw a lot of customers from that. Take that projection with a grain of salt. Or a fistful. They most likely don't care if you succeed or fail and are only interested in selling the build.

    Sensortron Coin Counter

The sensitivity only affects it accepting coins. If it were taking some and rejecting some, then it would need to be adjusted. Since it's taking them all and not giving a pulse for some, it's either going bad or needs to be cleaned. Test the Sensortrons yourself on a regular basis with coins...

Looking for a simple alarm system

I still have a bunch of those from Radio Shack along with the alarm clock size controller. I'm really surprised they still make them.

    Water Wizard 2.0 Presoak Issue

That's an SMC solenoid. There may be more info on another tag possibly on the bottom, but if someone knows a supply source it should be easy to determine the kit by the size and style.

    Water Wizard 2.0 Presoak Issue

If you can get a part number for the solenoid, a kit should be easy to find. Asking Kleen-Rite is about as useless as Braille on a drive-up ATM.

    Soap Jelling like mucus...

If the water is hot enough during the day it will kill off whatever growth there is overnight.

    Water Wizard 2.0 Presoak Issue

No, I'm not familiar enough with Coleman equipment. It's probably a GC valve, Kleen-Rite has a lot of their kits listed on their site with pictures.

    Water Wizard 2.0 Presoak Issue

If you take the guts out and run it a cycle to see if it works better, you'll know if it's even bad without spending any money. Just make sure you unplug the coil.

    Soap Jelling like mucus...

Hot water will keep it from growing, he's using warm water. The first thing I did when I had this problem was to bring an old saucepan to the wash and boiled water with my plumbing torch and poured it in.

Looking for a simple alarm system

I took a look at those systems, and it says something about telecom communication between the peripherals, which to me says it's not a simple open/close voltage switch. There's surprisingly little info out there about how these work, it's like you're either in the business and know the...

    Low Pressure irregularities between bays

Are you saying that (for example) you moved the lines from the solenoids labeled for bay 7 to the solenoids for bay 3 and it has the same problem?

    Soap Jelling like mucus...

Did you clean the tank thoroughly? The copper should be enough to stop it from happening, but it won't kill it off. You'll need to clean the tank with bleach and maybe add a couple tablespoons when you first refill the tank. I still recommend getting it off the warm water which is keeping the...

Turbulence in Main Tank causing Hydrominder problems

I usually replace the discharge fittings and use a 1 1/2" long nipple to move the eductor forward and just loop the wire right through the plastic eye in the float.

Looking for a simple alarm system

I've been looking into this for a few days now, and there's very little still being made in the form of a simple wired entry alert system. Everything is wireless, "smart," monitored for a fee or it won't work, etc. There's some stuff still available here: https://www.alarmsystemstore.com...

    Water Wizard 2.0 Presoak Issue

Pretty high considering the solenoids they use aren't very good. Disconnect the power to the coil, take it apart, remove the guts, put the cover back on and run it to see if it works right.
