    Taxes & deductions

Like Soapy said - Find good accountant and they will save you money. Taxes aren't DIY - IMHO. If the truck isn't a dedicated business vehicle, you should be keeping a mileage log and deducting every business related mile.

    Petit IBA

Lowest cost - I'd say Ryko when they run their sales and the machine is NOT BAD. I had two and they were good. I just installed 2 Petits. If you go fully equipped you're in the $225-250k range

Friction IBA guys. Same shutdown issue

I thought you had attendants at your site? There is nothing you can do other than having a staffer visually inspect every vehicle but then what do you do after hours? That is one of the few good reasons I decided to go to dual touchless .

New Touch Free Car Wash Equipment

Check out Petit. I, and many others, feel the quality of the machine, customer experience, and wash performance far exceeds it's competitors in the touchless market.

    Pit cleaner

I have a fenced off concrete drying pad where it dries out and then I pay a guy usually $300 to take it all away.

    Pit cleaner

Considering the cheapest price I got to pump my 6 pits was $1800, and I've been doing them every 2 months, I'd say even with this incredible inflation we're seeing, at $25K it's still a great ROI

    Well Known Members

There is certainly some exceptional knowledge and experience shared on this site and I like many others I'm sure, truly appreciate it. Has saved me tons.

    First wash due diligence questions.

Looks nice. Wondering what the walls are in the SS side? Looks like Hardi Board with Stucco above?

    Help w/ buying new Vacs

Actually now that I think about it, I apologize. I'm running a 1.5" hose on the Fragramatics and 2" on the Doyles so that is probably the difference

    Help w/ buying new Vacs

My experience has been different. Upgraded my Doyle 3 motor and Fragramatics 2 motor vacs with the Domel motor I love so much. BIG DIFFERENCE in suction between the 2. All new gaskets, hoses, etc.

    Free Vacs for SS only?

I've considered it many times. My site is busy on the SS and IBA side, but my vacs have always seen little cash/credit use. I think each vac averages about $20/week. Now with unlimited on my IBA I've been considering it more. I do know that another SS location about 5 miles from, a 4/3 has...

    EZ Liner Wall Panels

Went with Delpro. Cost me $5k to panel a 120' tunnel. I'm sure the price has gone up since I've done it ( 1yr ago)

    Dog wash …. Do, or a Dodoo…?

There is potential to make money with one. I make more than a SS bay in mine. With that said, I feel to run one properly and successfully, it needs to be attended and cleaned after each use at least during business hours( mine is open 24/7)

    Pay Station Recommendations

Take a look at Dencar. I have 4 and am happy with them. Beautiful units, competitively priced, and the only one truly able to run a membership program through a unattended IBA and eliminate abuse/fraud

    Loan for the Equipment

Washing GREAT! Love the combination. I think I've gotten one complaint about cleaning in the last 6 months. With the Dencar tellers that side of my wash just churns out business with no real need for an attendant. This spring I'll experiment with running the presoak through the foamers to...
