Need help with 1st carwash purchase

I don't think there's a magic number on longevity. How they were installed and maintained play into that. Theoretically they can last a really long time but after a bit they can start costing a lot in repairs. With the numbers you stated earlier I'm guessing they are there now and could be one...

Need help with 1st carwash purchase

How many washes on the Razors? What are the rest of the expenses? Don't be in a hurry as the asking price will surely reduce the potential buying pool.

    Capture rates now

    Did that project pencil out?

    Capture rates now

If the new EE that was built in our city used a .005 capture rate then they would have estimated about 65 CPD......unless they used it on the road their entrance is on and then it would be only 35 CPD. Not good for a 6 million dollar (I'm guessing) car wash. They must have used .05. 😂

    CryptoPay Tap Plus?

Did they tell you they were planning on it? I was told they were not going to.

    CryptoPay Tap Plus?

The question was if it could be used in conjunction with a swiper and the answer is no. That is not a Cryptotap Plus unit but the older unit that needs a swiper installed with it to communicate to the coordinator.

    Cost

If you are trying to be the best then I don't think you should be the lowest price. You probably won't turn a good profit.

    FRP recommendations

That's what we went with for our remodel that is currently still going on. One thing is that we bought 16" wide by 16' long panels (can't remember how many but enough for three SS bays) and they did not put them on a very well built skid. It was a nightmare to unload them from the truck. I was...

Are you using a regular HP gun for this?

    I thought the same thing.

Have you tried one? Expensive yes, but the one I used looked like it would last a while. The gun was broken (stuck on) but looked like a standard weep gun. The ROI might not be there because around here it would only get used 3 or 4 months per year.

IMHO some of these matter on the quality of them and the area you are in. These will be based on our experience. 1. Air dryers. The three phase Air Shammee II has very little operational cost and a lot of people use them. 2. Vacuum CC readers. A lot of people don't carry cash. 3. Triple foam...

    HP Manifold

Would 3/8" check valves make any noticeable flow difference over 1/4"?

    HP Manifold

I assume we should be using class 3000 fittings and schedule 40 pipe nipples. There are a lot of class 150 fittings at KR and CWSS and they are not rated for very high pressure. The 3000 fittings are crazy expensive. Where do you guys get your fittings from?

How much land do you need?

What type of automated wash? It looks big enough for a double in bay auto setup but not a tunnel.

    Double float valves

If I'm looking at this situation correctly then the easiest solution is to just turn down the water heater output temp to where it would keep up but I think it will be too low. Probably somewhere around 75F.
