    CAT 5CP2120 head

IIRC Kleen-Rite used to run them through Vilco. They might be using Dynajet now.

    I think it's $200.

Poll: Biden or Trump is best for my car wash?

You seem to be the only one that has a problem with it. Assuming you're an intelligent adult, you can always not read and not participate in any political discussions here.

    CAT 5CP2120 head

Dynajet is still doing pumps. I talked to someone not too long ago, he's too busy to answer calls and emails but he's doing everything he can to keep the process going. Just send your manifold(s) with a piece of paper that include a return address and phone number and they'll call you for a...

    Vacuum sticker removal

I get it at a local bolt supply for about half that. NAPA has it for $29.99. Zoro's regular price is $24.

Lock options for JC Vac Doors?

No one will have a key to your Gem lock unless you give it out. There are 800,000 possible keys. The downside is they're incredibly easy to open with the right tool. It's pretty easy to pry the door open regardless of which cam lock you use - I'd rather have them break $15 locks than $35...

    Longest lasting boom swivels

Little to none, as long as it will work with your boom.

    Cat vs General Pump

That's because they're cheap. They hold up pretty well on units fed with pressure and have the water heated after the pump, but they just don't last with gravity-fed hot water. They're also very prone to cracked plungers and oil leaks.

Lock options for JC Vac Doors?

There's nothing really special about the cam locks on Coleman vacs - the same ones that fit standard Weben doors will work. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-955-gem-cam-locks-5-8.aspx

    Vacuum sticker removal

It depends on the decal. Paint stripper will eat right through a Lexan decal but not a Mylar one. For those you pretty much have to use a heat gun and peel or scrape it. I use 3M adhesive cleaner to remove the residue - I find it best to wet the adhesive with the cleaner, wait about 30...

    Shining stainless steel

Yup, when I was a lowly attendant as a kid I was told to wipe down the vacs under the drying shed with Sheila Shine. They looked great, for about fifteen minutes, then someone came through and beat his mats against one of the vacs and left an inch of dirt over an entire 2-car area of the drying...

    Crime and Covid-19

I started pulling money more frequently at the beginning of March - instead of filling the changer for a week I've been leaving just enough for a couple days. I might start leaving the changer unlocked and empty overnight if I start having problems, but so far I haven't had any. I was about to...

    Social Distancing...

There's a corner not far from my wash where a bunch of bros sit on the concrete along the side of the road drinking beer, usually five or six of them, and the cops aren't making them disperse. It's life as usual for them. A lot of people don't care.

    Longest lasting boom swivels

The whip hoses last a long time for me, probably through three bay hoses. I used to order hoses with a guard until I had a hose break under the guard. I watch for signs and try to change them before it breaks on a customer - a hose guard ruined my streak of 6 1/2 years without a broken high...

    How are you all doing?

Same here, the rain has pretty much ruined business. I usually do well even if it rains all week, but now without another reason for people to be out and about, they aren't washing when there's rain.

    Longest lasting boom swivels

By "boom swivel," do you mean the one at the center of the boom? I use the Adams brass high pressure swivel with a street elbow. I use the same swivel at the gun, no swivel at the top of the bay hose. I used to use one at both ends of the bay hose, but I can't tell a difference if there are...

    Self serve high PH

You usually have to run a powder soap to make that work. I've used stuff that does, but it requires soft, hot water. If you take either of those away you'll either have the bulking agent cake up in your pumps and lines or it won't clean well.

    Which spray gun is best?

AR North America is the distribution company in the US for Annovi Reverberi, "the world’s largest manufacturer of pressure washer pumps." They're based in northern Italy.
