Okay getting back to the issue with the attendant card activating the swiper but not the vac. (using count down mode) As of February it was still doing it intermittently. Most times when I call Cryptopay for any reason I complain about it. In Feb they spent a lot of time with me over several...
This is exactly the issue we have. Also we do not have an overhang for our changer so it always gets wet. It has the flip up weather cover on it and does not seem to help much. Many times I'm there when someone is trying to get one to take and I tell them their bill is damp and they tell me it's...
We just had another Sensortron go bad a few days ago. It is a terrible design that it gives four pulses instead of one with a quarter drop when they go bad. (at least all the ones I have seen) Why can't they make it so it just rejects coins when it croaks? It is a good thing for us we check them...
Cryptopay here for four years now on our auto, vacs and SS bays. On the equipment side the only issues we had was the buttons went bad quickly. When they go bad they close the circuit and the customer gets charged the minimum if you are using count down mode. The buttons can be replaced by...
Instead of making the credit card start price higher why not make the cash price higher? That way you can cover better the bank runs, changer maintenance, burglar damages, alarm system monitoring and coin/bill acceptor maintenance.
Here is something I found.

Interesting point but I think there's more to it. So the chain Mike's Car Washes around here do not have pay stations so you are saying they collect sales tax and of course include it in their price? We only collect sales tax on vending items.
Our CPA told us to do it this way because he said that's the law. We have a vendor's license and they are for retail sales. The way you are doing it the state (and local) gets much less money and you know how much the government loves bigger paychecks. 😁
Let me clarify. We do not pay sales tax on purchasing vending supplies. When vended at retail we include the sales tax in the price. For example let's say we bend something at $1. The customer is really paying $ .93 plus tax. Then we pay the state the tax collected.
I looked at my notes again and found that these might work but I think the LED is not as bright so I went with the ones that JE Adams used:

They cost less than half and I see that the Bulgin switches only have a 35,000...
These are the buttons:

I made up harnesses and plugs for six of them but have not replaced any yet. The old buttons work fine right now but just the blue halo LED is not working. After replacing some I'll keep the old...
We use Google Sheets for vending sales and inventory. We have it set up with formulas so it automatically adjusts for inventory when we put in the sales for each item. We adjust the inventory number manually each time we get a box of vending items in. Other than figuring how much sales tax we...
