    Credit Cards!

We are very low volume on our cryptopay ($400 monthly) and at 6% total with Worldpay on 4.30 avg ticket last month.

Hamilton DAN, worth adding if using cryptopay?

Don't suppose being a 2009 model helps? I don't really need it, I'm fine with cryptopay so far. It seems do be just a small PC in a big cabinet.

Hamilton DAN, worth adding if using cryptopay?

I'm pretty tied down to cryptopay both on self serve and the goldline. Fees are not too bad, especially for our low volume.

I am salvaging the panels I'm removing for future use, i'm afraid the pry bar would bend up.

best way to deal with lead wall anchors?

The wash I am dismantling has most of the panels (tri foam, spot free, etc) attached to the brick wall with what looks like a lead anchor with a steel nail in the center. I have used by 4" grinder on a few, tried to drill but that didn't go so well. tried to melt the lead(?) with a propane torch...

Anyone know how much a D&S super 5000 gantry weighs?

I have to remove one and not sure my tractor forks will lift if off the rails. It looks like it is fully welded together, only a couple side panels seem to unbolt.

Bought all the stuff at a closed car wash.... except the keys.

I got two very reasonable methods that will be far cheaper than paying the locksmith 75 a log to hold a power tool. If he could make keys, it would be worth it, but from what I can see, the medeco lock keys are not easy to reproduce.. Thanks to Randy and Josh for the advice!

D&S Super 5000. If you got one free, would you install it?

My panel will have to be replaced. Its single phase now, probably an advantage long term with 3 phase, but I know it will cost now and "now" is never the right time to spend money. I always like to do it later...

Bought all the stuff at a closed car wash.... except the keys.

Went to an auction Saturday and made the first, and as it turns out only, bid on all the equipment for a wash that is being repurposed by its new owner. with 2 ss bays and a D&S Super 5000 IBA. 3 D&S vacs, changer and bunch of stuff, mostly with locks. the new owner didn't worry much about...

D&S Super 5000. If you got one free, would you install it?

I'm reasonably satisfied with the 5000 since I replaced the bridge after the accident and don't currently have plans to update that one.. I was considering using this super5000 i'm now obligated to remove in another little 3 bay wash we are buying this week that has no automatic. It would...

Hamilton DAN, worth adding if using cryptopay?

that is pretty much what I expected. I plan to stay with cyrptopay, just spent 1200 converting the goldline. My existing wash was set up for credit cards but did not have a dan installed when I bought it, looks like it used a dial up to do credit cards. I was just wondering if there would be...

Hamilton DAN, worth adding if using cryptopay?

As mentioned in another post. I purchased "salvage rights" to a closed down wash. It has a D.A.N installed. I"m not fully familiar with what it does, other than cost a lot to buy. This one is likely 2006 and may be totally obsolete. My current wash is 35 miles away and runs a goldline on my D&S...

D&S Super 5000. If you got one free, would you install it?

Yesterday, I was the succsessful(?) only bidder on a closed down wash, not including land and buliding. It appears all the equipment was installed in 2006 and had very low volume. two bays with D&S pump stand, all the usual stuff and a Super 5000 automatic, which appears like it will be some...

    LED6 problem

Thats a good idea that I didn't think of while I was at the wash tonight... I cant think of what it might be, other than timer itself. it just isn't counting down time. there was no time on the meter when I shut the bay down this past weekend. so the 50 seconds sort of just appeared. I have...

    LED6 problem

Had to shut off a bay Sunday because someone had run over my foam brush and I didnt have a spare (rookie mistake) today I recieved 2 new sets of hogs hair, installed the new brush turned the breaker for the bay on and the alarm pulsed continuously, even shut down a couple times and restarted...

    Trash Cans

The ones from kleen rite are hinged on one side. I carry a piece of PVC pipe, tilt them over to rest on it while removing can for cleaning. I got 13" opening, I'm thinking the bigger hole might be better so less trash ends up in the teepee instead of in the can underneath, but no way they can...

    Trash Cans

2nd on the mat holding teepees. We installed them recently and have seen a reduction in trash dumping. the dumpers are discouraged and vacuum use is encouraged. A win!
