Just got a used IVS "Fresh N Up" fragrance/vac. located a manual online but no recommendation on chemical. found both oil and water based fragrances. which do I use?

Tested at 25 1.5g, so city is selling me soft water, great, thanks all for the advice. I'm still going to put in a small RO system for the spot free rinse. I know keeping my other wash fed with salt is a bit of a pain. It tested closer to 50ppm so guess I'll keep doing it.

My first wash has spot free with an RO system. comes in around 35 to 40 ppm and the spot free is under 15ppm. If I can make RO water without having to run it through a softener, I think I'll add it to the dials on the meters.

Ive got some hardness test strips coming, to be sure but this is good news. I still may add a small RO system with charcoal filter for spot free, (depending on the consensus reached on my other thread)

Thanks, this came out of a wash that was shut down for a while. Surprisingly the one I am currently using sat for 4 years while the bank had it. guess its working pretty good considering. Maybe its just trying to collect some back pay LOL.
