    Looking for a Ryko guy

I'm assuming you're in Ky. I would call Superior Car Wash Solutions in Bardstown, or Wash-N-Shine in Louisville.

    Touchless or Friction

I agree to a point, that they shouldn't be giving advice, but sometimes an opinion from a users POV is helpful. One thing that comes to mind is how many operators beat their brains out trying to make that silly foam curtain work like they want. I would bet that if they surveyed a hundred...

    Good Purchase or Not?

It's worth whatever is valued most, business or dirt, and not a sum of the two. At 90K gross, 400K is a little high, but not out of reason. If the dirt is actually worth 400K, you would need to figure in deducting removal of the wash to make it usable for a different purpose. The numbers north...

Need advice on a 3 bay car wash

Didn't you say that you will need to get it rezoned before it can be reopened?

    Stacking self serve pump stand

One of my washes had a Mark VII 4 high stand. It had the slide-out feature, but it was still a b!tch to work on.

Hamilton changer having a hard time accepting $5 dollar bill

You only posted a picture of the HVX decal. Is the other validator an HVX as well?

Hamilton changer having a hard time accepting $5 dollar bill

A picture of the decal on the side of the acceptors is what’s needed. The model should hopefully start with XE. The one with the black decal scares me. I think it may be an HVX. If that’s the case, just take all the money out of your changer and set it outside, with a sign stating “hands off”...

    Mac from the forum

I was thinking about him a few days ago, and checked to see when he was last on the forum (January). I figured that he had just lost interest since he retired. I considered messaging him, but by then it was already too late. I met him in Las Vegas once and chatted for a bit. He was a nice guy...

GE front load washer water valve.

That’s pretty much what I needed to know. I have no problem replacing it, I just don’t want to tear into it without one on hand. If it was serviceable, I would give it a shot. I guess I’ll get one on the way. Can anyone lend me 50 bucks?

GE front load washer water valve.

I had a problem with my well, and sucked sand into everything downstream. I've got everything pretty much cleaned out, but my washer has a trickle of water entering constantly, even when not in use. No doubt, the fill solenoids are full of sand. Before I jump into this thing, I'm wondering if...

I always got mine at tractor supply. I think it was their house brand “Traveler”.

    Carwash Safe Glass

I had an idea once, that I thought would be a good solution. I was going to replace the glass with new, and then cover them with the windshield tear-off material used in NASCAR, then just replace it as needed. I bought some of the material, left it in my garage for years, and eventually gave it...

    Worth building a wash?

Decide if you think the area can support two washes. If it is built and appears to do well, another will be built nearby. Building them one on top of another is common. Ethics seem to be a rarity when it comes to this segment.

Foam brush soap for HP soap?
