What Greg said. If it does it again, just trash it and replace it with something better. Their repair service excruciatingly slow and not reliable, so you will have to replace it while you wait for it to come back with the same problem.

I use to do the same, except I used a torch, so I didn't have to remove the hose or deal with a cord. My torch was mapp gas, so I had to hold it bad about a foot and be careful...works great.

My thinking would be that with a blower, air is present and it's trying to push/compress it, hence overloading. In a vacuum, with no flow of air, it's literally running in a vacuum, and freewheeling.

Hard to say with the info at hand. With it being an operating wash now, a lot of infrastructure is already there, not to mention the bureaucratic hurdles that have already been cleared.

From what can be seen, it looks very salvageable. Ugly as a bull’s ass sewn up with a grape vine, but could be made presentable.
