How old is your vendor? The original models used smoked lexan for the shield over the display. This seemed to be a problem. It just might need a clear shield over the display.

IVS has a fix for that. Just give them a call. They modified the door to prevent that.

Fabric softener sheets I use fabric softener sheets in my camper during the winter. Seems to work. I don't know why. I don't think they like the smell.

Thank you Nick, I inherited the machines when I bought the wash. I found someone else who helped me with what I needed. I am still wondering if they will be around long. Are Gin San and IVS the same company. If one goes down does the other? I also have IVS vacs. EESH!!!

How can you assure us of this. This is not the first time that this rumor has surfaced nor have people complained of your service on this forum. We really like your product, but are you going to be around to service it?

Red scotchbrite does the trick. Just make sure you go in the same direction as the grain on the stainless. That is what they use to touch them up at the factory.

Customer service personnel at IVS has had a high turnover. So keep trying they will respond. It is a good product.
