    Another strange Cryptopay issue

I don't understand the reasoning for being count down. I recently retired and relocated. Of course, I now have to pay for car washes. I have used three different SS car washes in the area, all set up to count down. One of them was set at $2:00! That particular one was the only one that I...

    bay coin acceptors probs

Try a Microcoin or Slugbuster in a bay and see if your problems go away. In the middle of the bay is not ideal, but you are far from the first to have them there and others seem to get by fine with that arrangement.

    Bonus time LED7

Doesn't necessarily lock you into dollar increments. When I switched to dollar coins, my price was $1.50. I converted my dual Hamilton changer to dispense four quarters with any bill. Payouts went like this: $1 - 4 quarters $5 - 4 quarters, 4 dollars $10 - 4 quarters, 9 dollars $20 - 4...

    Weep issue - Solenoid?

I don't remember the part#, but I bought the exact one you recommended. It seemed like Kleen-Rite's # may have been SA-218. Yep, here it is. https://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-1355-solenoids-normally-open-low-pressure-brass-24volt-125psi-1-2.aspx

Greg, why do you have the dryer on the basic wash?

    New dryers for IBA?

I agree, and also put it outside to eliminate the dripping from door/door opening. Another thing to consider is the drive system of the machine itself. Freestanding eliminates a lot of back and forth passes, not to mention the weight eliminated.

    Weep issue - Solenoid?

I know Randy is sold on them, but the N.O. ones he recommended for weep didn't cut the mustard. Way too expensive, didn't last, and essentially non-repairable. I had one wash that had their N.C. valves on the LP stuff and they were great. I think some of them were original on a 24 year old wash.

    Hi PH-what to use

Yep, your problem is the water, not the equipment. You should have never been sold a touchless wash if you were going to use water that hard.

Looking at buying a Car Wash

If this is in a region that experiences below freezing temps, that should be a huge factor. Has the place been heated through all those winters, or is it full of items that have burst?

    Fighting the Freeze During Winter

I had one of those autos for a few months. I'm going back almost 20 years, but IIRC it had stiff tubing running through the rails. I think it was the same stuff used for floor heat tubing.

    Device to Track the Car-Count

I agree. You need to stay in one lane. If you want to merge them and any others you may have, we'll see if Jackson can do that.

    Car Wash Paint

If you are in a region that experiences freezing temperatures, there is no paint that will be satisfactory. If that's not the case, latex epoxy on properly prepared walls would be the best paint choice, IMO. All that being said, speaking from experience, I wouldn't recommend paint at all.
