Self-Serve equipment it pretty generic and has changed little over the last few decades. It can be kept going indefinitely. I just sold my washes. All of them have equipment from the 90s. I don't think the new owner has plans to replace any of it, maybe add a thing or two, but nothing...

I agree Mac. I sold my washes last week to a young and very techy forum member Dakota Hoskins. I see lots of improvements like this in their future.

Windtrax, Kleen-Rite, and Dultmeier is who I have used over the years. I've gotten good service from all of them. I don't like how Kleen-Rite gouges on shipping, but normally I would buy on free shipping promos. Of course, just as I was getting out of the business they came out with a loyalty...

One of my washes had two bays with 3HP motors. I installed 516s w/2506 and ran them at 1200 with no issues at all. Greg at Arimitsu has a formula for determining HP needed for the GPM and pressure you are running.

Models of anything and everything are discontinued every day. Seldom is repair parts an issue for years down the road. Now going out of business is a whole nother ball of wax...or is it carnauba? conditioner? protectant?

I bought one on advice I got here, back in about 2003. I wore it out and bought another just like it a couple of years ago. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that's not pleased with it.
