    Cryptopay and Etowah Valley

I've got a whole box of Etowah Valley timers, swipes, and speakers. I removed them in 10 bays. Some are green boards and some are red boards. I would make someone a good deal on the whole lot. Thanks, Lighthouse

    Truck bay operator question.

What length of wand and tip size do you use on your truck bays? I'm thinking of a 36" wand with a grip and 1506 tip. I'm pushing this with a 7.5HP motor and a 5CP6120 Cat pump. Do I need to have a larger orifice than .60? I would like to run this between 1500-1800 PSI. Thanks, Lighthouse

    Nayax user instructions

Hello everyone. I'm getting ready to install my nayax readers on SS bays and vacs. Can anyone share what they are using for signage for card user instructions? I will be making and mounting a sign next to the meters that details min and max charges, stop button instructions and anything else...

    Boom vac layout

I was thinking about 12' spacing and striping the parking lot to keep them lined up. Did anyone just do parking bumpers in front of them or have you had any issues with people running into them?

    Boom vac layout

I received my new JE Adams boom vac setup and wanted to see if anyone could share some experience with how to layout the spacing. How far apart do you locate the vacs, how far away from the curb, did you install bollards in front of each vac, how did you route the wiring into the vacs from the...

    Washworld Double Barrel vs. Razor

I priced the double barrel option when I ordered my new Razor's. It's $7,000 extra. I also eliminated the Foam & Flow on the new machines and will run my carnuba wax through the hyperflex. I have never been able to get consistent results from the Foam and Flow so I'm done with it. The things...

Portal Ti and Windcave for tap to pay

Installing 2 new Portals soon with tap to pay option. I have an existing portal that is about 2 years old with tap to pay that did not require Windcave as the processor. It just runs through Priority. I'm being told that the new units will require a Windcave processor account. Does anyone...

Adding Nayax to Vacs, count which way?

Vac company is telling me they can't run the Nayax with a bill acceptor and do count up at the same time. I know this is false, they just don't want to take the time to mess with it. So, I called a guy that is supposed to be the guru. He won't help with the Nayax programming since I bought...

    Washdown with Nayax readers

How do you activate the wash with a Nayax reader to wash down the bays and not use an actual credit card. I have wash down cards for my Unitec system, and my old timers had a remote control. Do they make a remote control for the LED7 timers that can be used? Lighthouse

Adding Nayax to Vacs, count which way?

That is my new favorite website! The stop buttons look awesome, and I think I will order the rain protectors for the Nayax readers for my vacuums.

    IBA blowdown

I have floor heat and insulate the ceilings above the IBA's very well. This keeps the bays around 45 degrees, no matter how cold it gets outside. I'll check on the door size, but they are larger than 10x10 for sure. I'm renovating and need to close the openings down to 10x10 so I'm guessing...

Adding Nayax to Vacs, count which way?

In doing count up, did you install a stop button or just use the touchscreen? I've heard of issues with Nayax and the touchscreen as the stop button. I'm doing an actual stop button on my self serve meters when I install them. Lighthouse

    IBA blowdown

I think your ability to continue washing cars in cold temperatures should out weigh the decision to do a blow down. My first wash did not have doors and I constantly had to shut the wash down or melt ice from the weeps every morning before I could start washing cars. The doors have been...

Monthly fee for unlimited washes - is it worth it?

Good call not buying it. That new tunnel will be within 100 yards of it!

Monthly fee for unlimited washes - is it worth it?

I agree with this. It has been a long time since we've seen any tunnels charging that in Missouri. Current tunnel has individual washes of $25, $17, $12, and $7. Unlimited's at $40, $32, $27, and $20. Of course, they run that individual price up so high that it forces people to do the unlimited.

Adding Nayax to Vacs, count which way?

Adding Nayax VPOS to new vacuums. What is everyone doing? Do I put a stop button and do count up, or do I program the Nayax at set pricing and they can select if they want $1, $2, $5 etc? I will also have bill acceptors but am eliminating the coin mechs and want to be able to do a free vacuum...

Monthly fee for unlimited washes - is it worth it?

AutoSpa.....They have 5 locations in town and just put up signs for number 6 and 7. They have built tunnels within a mile of one of my locations and the 2 new ones will be within half a mile of one of my other locations. Actually will be right across the street from one of the other local...

    Customer service

My biggest beef has been with contractors. Everyone here is crazy busy, and I get it, but if I call multiple times and leave a voicemail, at least call me back and say you can't get to it, or you're not interested. If you say you will get me a bid, then don't make me call 3 or 4 more times and...

    Customer service

Is anyone else pulling their hair out with customer service? Leave voicemails, send emails, call and call. Can't get anyone to call me back, return emails. I'm literally throwing money at people to buy equipment and nobody seems to care anymore. Frustrating! Lighthouse
