Had the same issue early this week. What happened was when I was repairing one of the solenoids for a foam brush some of the product splashed into the brine tank of the water softener. Took two manual regenerations and it cleared up no problem.

Yeah, that seems to be what's happening to our overhead springs... getting pretty darn rusty after only being open just over one year...

What does everyone use to keep the horizontal springs above their IBA doors lubed up? We are spraying them with WD-40. Any other product that works better than that and lasts longer than a week?

Great idea... actually tossed that around with the owners. Trailers like that in Saskatchewan are quite a bit more than that, but I like the idea of it being mobile and moving it around once or twice a year to attract more attention.
