Adding bill acceptors to JC combo vacs

You won't have a problem from rain. I've had zero problems with the Mars in the auto cashier which has no kind of shield on it at all, and it's not even an upstacker.

Perfect. I tried to install one today but it turns out that the mounting posts for the bill acceptor are short and I need to extend them. Any idea what the standard size is for the mounting posts for the bill acceptor. All bill acceptors use the same posts, so it should be the same size.

Randy, do you know what size/part number the molex connector is that plugs into the 9-pin on the harness? I wanted to make some connectors before installing them so that it would be cleaner and easier to remove in the future. Thanks.

Could someone with JC combo vacs with bill acceptors post or PM me a picture of the bill acceptor mounted on the door of the vac and another of the inside of the vac? Preferably a shampoo vac. I am trying to mount mine and am having a hard time making everything fit. The doors that JC made the past four years have punch outs and mounts for the bill acceptor so that they can be added later, but it is a really tight fit and I can't figure out how to make the top two screws attach to the acceptor as they are two narrow. It looks like I might need some kind of adapter bracket. I also need to reconfigure the shampoo motor line and fitting so that the door will close with the acceptor installed. Any pics would really help and be appreciated.
