Time to prepare the floor heat boiler for the coming months. I have been using a slabstat, but I have read on the forum that this is not the most efficient way of going about it. I'm looking for a few things:
I was about 30% more efficient last year by monitoring flame and making adjustments in reference to the weather. I would like to get another 20-30% worth of efficiency this year if I can replace the old style slabstat with the new aquastat.
Thanks in Advance!
- What type of stat should I purchase?
- Do I need one for both my incoming and outgoing lines?
- What setpoints are used?
- What type of control thermostat should be used?
- Are there additional money saving options available?
