Bay lighting?

I am sure someone has asked in the past but wondered if anyone has good recommendations for bright LED bay lighting? Looking to upgrade our lights in one location.
Ideal solution would be a dimmable LED that can be controlled via a motion sensor so we can reduce electric costs when no one is around?

Nevermind. Looks like they turn off completely and not sure if that is configurable.

IMO Ceiling lighting for SS Bay is not optimal . Reason being is the Customer needs illumination as much down the side of the car as they do on the top of the car. So, you would have to mount the ceiling light at the sides of the bay and they then might not throw enough light half way across the bay so that the entire side would be illuminated.

I could only suggest 8. I figure if you put one in the center it will do more between cars where you don't need it as opposed to down the length of each. I guess you could experiment if conduit runs down each side wall. Try 3 on each and see how it works. If not ood switch it to 4 on each sidewall.

Ditto in G&G. I recently installed 2 lights in each bay. They are expensive but I like them a lot.

The easiest way to do this is if you have two fixtures in a bay then wire one of them to a motion sensor.

Why do it the easiest way?! FWIW...I don't care for proprietary lighting in the bays. They are usually expensive and when they go south, they go in the garbage can. No fixing or repairing or changing bulbs....I installed (3) bulb IP65 rated fixtures that use standsard 48" Led tube lights that can be changed out for about $4 per tube....I use daylight bulbs or 5000k-6000k. The controller (Thanks to CantBreak80 for putting me on to it) has an Astonomical Function Block that automatically updates on/off timing based on your Latitude/Longitude that you plug into the programming. My lights come on 1 hour before dusk and off 1 hour after daylight, all bulbs...Each bay on time delayed 2 seconds to limit inrush current. At 10pm, 2/3 of all the bulbs (2 per fixture) turn off and leave one on for security per fixture. (4 fixtures per bay). The inputs of the PLC are wired to the bay timers so after 10pm, the remaining 2 bulbs per fixture in a bay being used turns on after $ is inserted and the timer starts. When time runs out, I give them a 10 minutes grace period (drying time) before the lights go back to security....I probably should tidy up the wiring in the control panel...Saving for a rainy day...

Ever consider putting in a separate smart switch for each set of lights you want to do something different and using Alexa to make them do whatever you want? I swapped out my house timer for exterior lights on pole and building to the switch and use the Dusk to Dawn option.

With 4 of the lights I linked to the cost is about $280 per Bay and it's lit like a hospital operating room. You could o 3 more per bay but that would be overkill . G&G cost is probably 4 times that amount per Bay.

Some of my older 4 foot Vapor tight fixtures were in good shape and I was able to - for lot less money convert them to LED Tubes. Only Real Cost was the LED Tube. Just removed the Ballast and put in new tubes.

4 per bay, approximately 20" in from end of each bay wall.
