Depending on what you do they are simple but may require multiple steps to get the bills ready for deposit.
The first thing I do is run the bills in face mode. This sorts into two pockets depending on how they are faced. it does not count the bills at this point
After that, I count the bills using "mix face orient mode" which both counts the money and sorts into the two pockets depending on which way they are oriented. I record the totals.
I then use the strap mode to sort and strap the bills in their individual denomination, starting with ones, then fives, tens, and finally twenties.
Finally, for batches of bills too small to strap I go back to mix face orient mode and count them, strap then and right the total on the strap.
It sounds like a lot, but you could hand me a stack of 2K all mixed up and I could prepare a deposit in probably 15-20 minutes that is dead on every time.
