couple of sensortron mech. is getting coin jammed lately. Coins are flawless (without bents nor sticky). Once i clear everything and drop the coin that got jam, it goes through fine. How do we fix this? How do we clean them?

Send me your email I have a PDF file from Sensortron with their cleaning instructions. Could not upload here. Said invalid file.

So we need only replace the insert or does it have to use their housing?
The inserts and frames are pretty standard. You can put an IDX, a Sensortron, a Slugbuster or a coin mech all in the same frames.

This is not true anymore. Any units produced since early 2008 have a magnet proof output.

Dan that’s all well and good. But how many hundreds or thousands of Sensortrons coin acceptors where made with Ginsan knowing that there was a problem and they continued to make them. Has Ginsan ever offered to swap out the Sensortrons that can be manipulated with a magnet for the newer model that can’t be manipulated.

I've sent older ones in that could be fooled by a magnet and for $35 Ginsan modified them to the magnet proof version.
