Not yet. Will try that soon and let you know what happens. I appreciate the help guys. I’m still new to the industry and still learning. I have done all the repair and maintenance work myself. Some things I still don’t understand all the ins and outs of. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Looks like I’ll be changing out the regulator on the pump. I know you guys had mentioned that the water was very turbulent going through the pump due to the way it was plumbed. Can you give me some recommendations on how to improve that? I was under the assumption that a pump could basically be plumbed only 1 way?

No, that's not correct. The water from the tank enters bottom left. HP water exits top right into that Home Depot store's worth of fittings and heads out to the bay. The water not needed to maintain the desired pressure/volume exits top left, through the regulator and out that smaller blue hose that is connected to bottom right. The bottom holes are just connection points to the same place. If you took the fittings out you would see that it's just a straight through hole, same as the top. That's why I don't like the blue hoses entering opposite one another. I may be making too much of it and maybe the extra turbulence won't amount to a hill of beans.
