Replace both the latch and the rubber gasket. Most of the rivets are stainless steel. I use a bald headed screw when I replace the latches.I was leaning towards replacing them, but was concerned about the slots they latch to on the door being worn. I cant Tell if the leaks are due to the latches being loose, the slots being worn out, or a combination of both.
Are those just aluminum pop rivets holding them on?

I use the same screw that Hamilton uses to hold on there face panel.Randy, what are these screws you speak of? Carriage bolts? Plow bolts? Elevator bolts?
The only place I've ever seen those screws is from Hamilton. I'm sure someone has to stock them. You could also use a spanner head screw https://www.boltdepot.com/Machine_screws_Spanner_pan_head_Stainless_steel_18-8.aspxAre these commercially available or hamilton only items? I was planning on trying security screws
I was looking at the hex style security screws similar to fragramatics lid bolts since I already have a set of the security allen keys. Just to utilize the tools I already have available at the washes. The only place I've ever seen those screws is from Hamilton. I'm sure someone has to stock them.
