I may use some of those to put under No Parking Signs people seem to ignore.I think I will have some of these made up:
Yeah, years ago when my family was in the lawn and garden equipment business we had a similar deal. We ran an ad in the local paper for one of our most popular models of self-propelled mower. The rep faxed the ad to me for approval, which I approved. As soon as I opened the paper I noticed that the price was about $100 below our cost, exactly as the proof that I had approved. After I got done crapping my pants I called the rep and had her fix it before the next issue came out. The end result, we didn't get a single inquiry on the mistaken price...makes you wonder how well your advertising dollars are working.I have always believed that you could put up a sign in all bays that says, "Free $20 bill. Just ask attendent." You would sit there all day and nobody would ask you.

Is it my imagination or is there a spooky face impression on the tree above the sign?I think I will have some of these made up:
We used to be stocked with 55 gallon drums, cause we could not give them away. Now we put a price of $10 on them, and we have a waiting list to sell them. Like Mac said, you put a value on something and the perception changes. What the heck is wrong with people?Along the same lines as the $20 bill, is how I get rid of my 55 gallon barrels. Usually, I just set it out front and write "TAKE IT!!!" on the side. Often, people will ask me if it's ok if they take it.
