Nozzles on WashWorld Razor/Profile

Isn't that bottom nozzle too low?

It was the height when we installed the wash. We never changed it. Incidentally we found we weren't hitting the very bottom of the tires but with the blast tech on we now do.

Following in from the original question I spoke with a Washworld distributor in Italy that swears by a nozzle brand called Leclerc. He also recommended swapping out the top 5 1504 nozzles for 1505 ones for better hood impingement. The pressure drops a little but he claims its a great improvement. I am gonna order some to try.

Tops on an L have different demands than the sides - further away from the surface they are cleaning, their distance from each other etc.

It's down to the pumps ability to produce volume. By upgrading to 05 nozzles on the top 5 your are using more water and taking a bit of cleaning power off the rest. As Wash n shine said, the top ones are furthest away so they benefit with the boost. The side ones get close to the vehicle so don't need it.

How many cars have your current nozzles cleaned? Have you checked your water hardness or presoak titration lately?

Washworld has a brand new arch at the Car Wash Show that has zero degree rotating nozzles. The arch has two sets of nozzles, one for lp soap application and the other set is HP rotating nozzles. Cant wait to see it in action

only 4 months old. washed 3,000 cars. my chemicals are running off of softened waterZ titration looks good. what temp are you guys running ?

Guess they realized Petit was taking away alot of business and this is a great way to match some of what Petit offers. Hope it makes a positive difference in cleaning.

I'm praying that WW offers a retrofit kit to this system

edit to add: my Razor3’s that were installed in 2016 are still cranking out clean cars with very few issues. My customers still exclaim “ILOVE this Carwash. It’s the only one that actually gets my car clean”. I have to remind myself that just because it’s new and shiny doesn’t mean it’s better than what you already have.
